Hah! Most of these small shops happily sell booze n fags to the underage - if it werent for the police and trading standards we would be in an even worse situation!

Its a bit rich these shops complaining about chavs while happily supplying em with booze/fags!

oh theres a fucking surprise you bitch and moan about this coz a small minority in your fucking age group are ***** and are a bane on our society.

then you go on to say shops happily supply under age kids booze when the vast majority don't only the minority of the shops do.

It's a shame the brown noise isn't real, that'd sort the buggers out faster than any mosquito nonsense.

In all seriousness though, if shopkeepers are just leaving these things switched on, then that's not right. Believe it or not, for every cider-swilling chavscum outside a corner shop there are a 100 under-25s going about their normal business and they have a right not to be aurally assaulted.

Thats obviously correct, but then they dont have to stand outside the Spar listening to it do they? They dont drop down dead at the first buzz, do they?

Its a funny thing, I was thinking just the other day, about this mad fight we had in a pub when I was a kid (19 or 20 or so).

Basically my mate had upset the landlady fairly greviously and the regulars had piled in to sort things out. They were all geezers in thier 30's and 40's that I WOULD NOT have fucked with no matter what in normal life.

It was a massive ruck that no one really got hurt in (the barman hit me with a pool cue but I cant say it hurt) and in the end we was ejected.

Anyway.

A couple of weeks later Im in the same parade of shops as the pub, and I see one of these blokes walking towards me. Ever the freindly fucker, I think Ill look at him as we pass, say hello and all will be well.

Imagine my suprise when this double hard bastard wont ever look at me, and we pass with me feeling well tough :)

I just expected that was because I was well hard (of course), and that I'd been publicly arrested at that parade of shops by plain clothes old bill only the week before. (Ahem)

But now you know, I think a bit different. I reckon it was that although this bloke could obviously batter me, he still parks his car outside his house every night. Hes still got kids.

Basically he's got stuff he values. And he knows (expects) that a scrote or gang or scrotes can go and muller his stuff anytime they like, so he's best out of it.

Multiply that by 20, and you get the power afforded to children of today. Not only can they do all that stuff, but the law protects them if they do.

No wonder people hate kids rthese days :)

Actually I was round my brother's last night sorting out his new TV for him when the news popped on talking about the scum of our society, yes, kids.

They were talking about the murder of that guy a few months ago and popped up a pic of a Dad who refused to go into a shop and buy cigs for some 13yr olds. He was not a pretty sight.

I am all for any device that stops this sort of behaviour, call me old fashioned BUT I NEVER acted like that when I was a kid growing up. Fucking parents need slapping to.

Are we the only country with this vile problem?

Yes. I don't understand this chav culture in the UK. Although I live in a much smaller country population wise, we don't have 13 year old kids beating up people. Maybe the odd case once a year or so making national headlines, but not like people are afraid to walk home at the dead of night afraid of being mugged and beaten shitless by a gang of children.

We do however have alot of immigrants hanging around supermarkets chewing khat all day and talking bullshit and a few rape cases each weekend in the capital. But not as much as it has become a real problem.

I'm not sure but I think so - I think the root of it is from kids not being shown there are limits to behaviour - generally this is done by parents but in broken families the kids are often just turned out all day.

Because of groups like the NSPCC its now no longer acceptable for adults to give a misbehaving teen a clip round the earhole - this was done for good and noble reasons but its really backfired!!!

So basically theres no-one showing these kids that their actions have unpleasant consequences - the legal system has no effective deterrents and if you dont sort em out in their teens its probably far too late.

I'm pretty sure that in southern europe if you misbehave you'll get a clip round the earhole and no-one thinks twice about it and consequently they dont have these problems...

I guess we are the victims of our own guilt - remember that the nspcc wants a complete blanket ban on smacking - hmm that will help :p

Edit: Oh and countries like Italy still have national service...

National service helps? Maybe - Norway has national service when you reach 18 years old. But you can always get out of that if you don't really want to. Like saying "when are we gonna shoot some gooks" at the shooting range (yes, you get booted then) , bed wetting or having 200 condoms in your pack.

But the problems is the teens no? Not when they are young adults or whatever.

When i was growing up it wasn't the police i was afraid of, it was my mum and my Granddad (my dad wasn't around) I used to get up to some pretty silly things but never anything that would hurt others. I knew if i crossed the line I would get either whacked with the shoe by my mum or my granddad or grounded and when they said I was grounded they meant it, no outside contact for a week except going to school.

its a sign of the times
nanny state, people being over "equal" on stuff, and so forth

and its the sins of our parents aswell tbh - kids can be bad, but to be THAT bad you need to have parents who dont care, and that doesnt just happen, ok most of them are about 16 when they drop sprogs , but its all tied together

world is going to shit, and as long as the "but they are children ..." crowd hold control it will just get worse.

drunk and disorderly, shoplifting, stabbing at school.. aah theyre just sweet little children they dont know any better, we cant possibly give people their names, and prison ?! of course not, they just need to be told off
