I got a folder in "c:\Documents and settings\all users\desktop\" and it doesn´t show on any users....

any ideas?

That's used for stuff you want all users to have access to i.e. programs. If you put a shortcut in there, for example, it would appear on all users' desktops.

yes I bloody well know that

problem is the folder "daglige programmer" placed in

c:\Documents and settings\all users\desktop\

doesn´t appear on any users desktop

nor does the newly created "test" folder

Gah, missed the 'on' word :/

I just made a folder in there, and it appears fine on all users desktop. Not much help to you I know.

Have you tried right-clicking on the desktop and selecting 'SHow Desktop Icons'? It's all I can think of at the moment.

the folder for some reason have to be in the "administrator" profile also, then there isn´t a problem....
