More weapons plzz

Anyoen more then me that think its just waaaaaaaaaaaaay to few weapons in SWG? there are quite a decent amount of pistol but its not even near enough melee weapons... Also you dont get better weapons the higher you climb instead they tend to suck even more... I would really want them to fix so each weapon box would give about 5 new weapons instead of 1 as it is in most melee boxes.

No offense intended, but its a sci-fi game where guns are kings, how many melee weapons did you ever see in the movies ? and 5 melee weapons per box !?!!? thats 80 weapons just for master brawler, comon most fantasy games dont even have that many differant types !

Not saying that i disagree with you on the amount available, but think about it and you will understand why there should never be as many as you want.

i'd like to see a load more melee weapons. just having VK for hand to hand is rediculous. and quite frankly surprising comming from the same people that made EQ, the game with more items than there are words in the dictionary.

TBH i dont think unarmed should have any weapons, maybe thats why its called 'UNarmed'

And SWG isnt the item/lootfest that EQ was, and there doing this on purpose.

Well if you use your fucking laser carbine from box 3 in marksman to master carbineer cause its the only weapon that is good well there is a problem.

Prolly the same with alot of other weapons.

I only see one reason... lazyness

The MMORPGs that I liked best is the ones with ALOT of stuff like EQ and AO. So you dont have to look the same as EVERYONE ONE ELSE, AS IN SWG.

Didnt say there wasnt, was merely speaking melee weapons such as your post described.

Seems plenty of pistols, Rifles, Heavy weapons, so not a lot of other weapons, just a few

Then go play them games, if you did your reaserch and knew anything about the game you would know they purposefully drove away from loot/items being the major factor and instead concentrated on skills and the character, what you hold in your hand dosnt make you look differant from everyone else, what do you think the 100's of differant clothes and character customisation are for.

Yepp I missed the "This is the most unbalanced game ever made" sign to.

And btw Droid Engineers cant make droids, they fixed it in last patch great huh ?

Actually there are loads of melee weapons in the movies even if you dont count lightsabers.
I agree that unarmed fighters should be content with VK's but they could make couple more things to the melee arsenal.

well actually tbh i'd prefer not to have any unarmed weaponry atall and have our unarmed skills upped so we can actually do the same damage as a VK and as quickly as one without having to buy one. but if they're willing to give us VK's they should give us at least SOME variety, maybe hand wraps.. knuckle dusters, stuff like that, would be alot cooler.

Yes that would be good but what about giving swordmen a fucking sword first instead of a powerhammer.

In the swordsman description is says they specalise in all 'one handed weapons' yes i agree the name is a bit missleading but there not sword specalists.

There was a post to the pistoleer forum from a designer stating they were looking at adding more weapons all round but its not gonna happen right now. The devs have their priorities completely screwed trying to get Player Cities and Mounts out the door while half the professions still have serious issues.

Sorry I guess I'm just bitter that my main profession, Droid Engineer, is totally broken and has been for 3 days now... If I was a Creature Handler this would have been fixed by Saturday night...
