More ranting about shadowblade specs!

Was definetly going 5spec until i spoke to a m8 who ive known from day 1 who has a kobold zerkerblade - i asked what the left axe damage is like for kobolds cos i know its amazing with norse, the reply was frankly shit, anyone confirm for me plz?

Also critblades aint gimped anymore their impractical in certain instances

Cylian is a 5(slightly miss-) specced SB, and the damage of the LA Styles is lovely.

The LEFT-Axe truly does shitty damage, for me around 40dmg.
But the TRUE damage comes from the styles

If you get a lvl50 Infil with a non-critical PA + CD, you only need 2 Doublefrost to finish him off ... and with a good WeaponCombo, that's before the stun wears off

he`s right you know Pudz i may not be a SZ but even as a 5spec Infils below lvl 50 ie no epic armour are dead in 3 hits with doublefrost if i remember right when i bumped into Aswad at dc once i was hitting for 300+ dmg per double frost, which kinda shows the dmg that can be done against plate i cap max 130 dmg on epic armour :/

im a norse 5spec and i love it!, i dont have 50 axe, i dont have 50 stealth, i dont have 50 cs, i dont have 50 leftaxe... but i do have 44 cs, 44 leftaxe, 49 stealth, and something axe.. i do very nice PA's, very nice double frosts, and very nice frosty gaze. Im RR3 now, at RR4 i will have 50 stealth, and come Dodans Gruva / spellcrafting, i will have lifebane.

In the end im planning on 55 left axe, 50 cs,, 52 axe, and 50 stealth/envenom... i didnt plan for my char's evolution to be "finished" when i dinged 50, but rather at RR5 i will have optimal spec.. at RR7 i will respec for lower stealth & envenom.

In responce to cylian: my lefthand damage is around 45-50 on level 50's

Well if you dont have any life and got a few chars to lvl 50. Well it dont take that much time. If you dont have any life.

Only took myself about 6 months to get my thane to lvl 50 but i have got work. I wish i could play more, since the game is still fun. Down will life and long live DAOC

And anyone that says Kobold SZ hit like wusses are just plain silly, its only a matter of 20 Str, I mean u dont get people saying Norse Thanes hit like wusses compared to trolls, its not that big a gap.

Gor Starters any infil that gets PA+CD on u WILL kill u.
HOWEVER IF u get the jump on em, you dont even need to PA+CD them to finish em.

Manage to jump em from behind and get off a Snowsquall (true 5 specs dont have 44 LA style Icy Brilliance).

If you can get ur PA+CD in, they are mucho dead anyway, regardless of ur spec.

But ther 3rd way to keel em is of course open with Doublefrost, backup Comeback with double frost and if u evade, ur in high heaven, COmeback+Frosty is an amazing combo, add a 6 sec stun and you got one dead Infil, all bar IP of course.

5 specs and SZ excel at killin other stealthers without needing a PA+CD. Dodger 2/3, aug dex 2 and MoP 3 would reeeeeealy help of course as you whole fight night depends on them tasty evades to enable the comeback chain.

The only real decision you need to make between SZ and 5 Spec is do u want the versatility of LA styles AND PA+CD at cost of a little less LA damage and lower Env or go SZ and have no real frontloaded damage and stuns

Whatever.. those numbers i listed are with items and RR.. i AM a 5spec.. and if you cared to read what i wrote, i said i would get lifebane too... and i do have PA & CD. and double frost & comeback & frosty gaze
