Salisbury New Year Party - 14-16th January, 2000
i3 - 24-26 March, 2000
1. i3 Open for Booking!
After the tremendous success of i2, we've turned our attention over the past couple of weeks to getting i3 booked up and ready to rock. Dates are set for 24-26 March 2000, and the venue is the renovated Swindon Town F.C. conference centre that played host to i2. The main room is being made much bigger, with a restaurant area on the side. This will mean we can both fit 300+ people in there, and give everyone a bit of extra space for added comfort. In addition, sleeping rooms and shower facilities should be available at the venue, although we're confirming the fine details of this over the next week. Suffice to say the quality of life on-site at i3 will be just about as good as we can make it.
We're going to be doing our best to respond to all the comments and feedback we received, both via email and the questionnaires at i2. More tournaments, more players, more prizes, more fun! Both IBM and SMC have increased their involvement in i3, and we'll now be having an even bigger managed switched network from SMC, and more servers and a whole armada of client machines from IBM.
What are you waiting for? The website's live and waiting for you to book up! Seeing as we were overbooked at i2, if you want to be sure of a place at i3 best get your booking in and paid up early. Point your browsers to the URL below:

2. Salisbury New Year Bash
Can't wait until i3 in March? Well, we're running a larger than usual Salisbury bash from 14-16th January 2000. It's basically our New Year LAN Party, so expect some extra madness to be going on there. 70 places are available at this, making for a good party atmosphere. After all, the venue is a New Forest Inn
.
We're going to be planning a few mad tournaments to celebrate the new year, as well as throwing out the window all our New Year's Resolutions about losing weight, drinking less and spending less time on the PC
.
Our Salisbury events are an excellent mix of gamers from all genres, and you'll find yourself playing all sorts of games whilst joining in the friendly atmosphere. So why not have a practice session for i3 at Salisbury in January? Go on... treat yourself
.
