More Joyful encounters with Hibernia's finest

Remeber the days when Hibernia seemed to be a friendly realm that seemed to get on pretty well... Dont usually do much XPing nowadays but got a call from my place in a fins list this afternoon and logged my Lolli lugger (tank)....

All was fine and dandy the XP was flowing nicely and the grp was getting on well and enjoying the game....

One of the tanks announced he had to go, a replacement was called and already on the way... The grp did the usual thing, grabbed a coffee, sat and chatted etc...

Another grp of 8 players appeared and started pulling fins, the following is a dialogue of what happend next

Turns out this grp didnt wanna be on the fins list so made there own grp and went to the the fins in Brefine, but got wiped by Nolby Pride so came to the CF spawn. Their arguement was as we had stopped pulling to wait for our new tank to come, the spot was now theirs and we should cancel the fins list we had with 40 or so players waiting all day to get in the grp...

No matter whos right or whos wrong, would be nice if people could realise that we are all playing the same realm, we are all fighting for the same thing and as long as we respect each other most problems can be solved quickly and easily, and more importantly in a civilized manner....

I do worry about some of the people I meet in this game... I can handle disputes and disagreements they come with most MMRPG's, but the childish profanity that comes from some people in DAOC never ceases to amaze me...

Have a read... I really tried hard to see this from their point of view but was, and still am, pretty sure we were dealing with some nasty individuals....

we gave up and the fins list disbanded as far as I know...
Sorry to the people that waited all day... but there was really nothing we could do about it....

I was there too and saw all this going on. What a bunch of rude arogant, childish idiots. For someone that is RR9 and so has had alot of time in daoc, I would expect Eleasias to be a bit more grown up and reasonable and also know the usual fins routine which I am sure he does.

i dont like the idea of a fins list anyway... sounds a bit sad to me
shouldnt be a list you have to go on to xp ... i think the other groups had just as much right to be there as you but i dont really care cos i have no level 40 + char and i blame mythic or goa or whoever for making only one decent spot for 40- 50 ers to xp


my rangers staying at 40 once i got him there ... i dont have the time or need to sit at fins allday as some peops have said before

but then what do i know im just an ent and we ents weatehr suchs things out as well allywats do ... im gonan pour all my efforts into SWG or some other mmorpg when it comes out get to the highest level same time as anyone else and enjoy the game.

Id love to go to see legion or some of the places like siab city but no level 50 will give you the time of day if i asked
(not ever have, before you asked, and i donnot include guild members in this cos everyone know guildies will jump hoops forone another cos thats how a guild should be )
this is just a guess though an observation form peoples attitudes.

i still think 50% of level 50 peops play the game too much and are leetist example of this is pvp. Full of pleveling bores
you can pvp at any level dont have to be 50 to do so still if your worried so much about some one higher than you attacking you and for once not being able to onehit him i spose its the way to go

you must be new, censi is one of the most patient person in hib, and censi RARELY posts problems on BW cause she sorts them out in game..

The most hillarious thing here is that eleasias actually is a part of this. It quite seems to me that this is a part of: i need 50 badly so no matter how many others have to suffer im getting there NOW! attitude i do not like at all. Eleasias..you now play a HERO! You need a TEAM and a REALM to defend. Plez at least take the time learning of the LOTS of other spots you can level before you get the damn level 50 you are so heartfully seeking P

The main fins group have a list ONLY to be a spot where people are assured good xp. How idiotic is it that people that actually do wait for hours get half xp there becase of guys like you never bother to learn any other spots in cf nor ez then main fins spot
That you get wiped at frontier fins dont mean there is no other options ffs, knights in ez and other finz spots in cf is just as good (knights imoh even better) then the damn fins, so plez get a grip The /played means dick, so please stop making the realm ashamed of their highest ranked player

Ive known censi longer then n00bs like you have been playing this game. Read the chat dialogs, you guys had every intention of causeing problems within hibernia. I know for a fact censi would have tried to resolve these probelms amecably but some people just wont ever listen.

Hibernia and DAOC is becoming an game full of arse holes and wankers. Still some nice people left, but a lot have gone. Its not going to be long before others take this step and resort to other games. Why your group brought it open yourself to start pulling in CF when the whole fins list format has been going on since the game was realeased. Get a life, Grow up, Play nice, and get yourself a new dummy. You spat that one out so far its gone up some fins arse.
