And i cant really see the sence in people just taking over the spot like he did. He just took the spot and closed the list. Plus i can see he wasnt only rude to me. I asked him if he thought it was fair to just clean off the list wich people had been waiting on for days. He didnt answer and i told him my oppinion that it was a BS way to be a LK.. reply was that he would ignore me if i wrote to him again..
Ive been on the list since thursday but the list kept being reset..

A real life friend of mine asked if me if he could log on my account for pve more often ( he allready had acces. but only if the guild needed a bard and there were none. )

Squallion is right about the fact that PvE DOES help you play in RvR at least as far as a ranger is conserned. I only play ranger cause I don't have the time to level another class (ffs, i can't even level my arties), and this ranger I leveled solo to 50. Let me tell you what you learn.

Patience! Aye, you will need it if you camp FS for one hour+ and none comes out.

Max range of you primary weapon and how to calculate that without waiting for the text message!

How to use the bow! Stupid as it might sound, many PLd rangers cant even use it!

Combo of melee moves. Imagine if you come up with 44 pierce and all those moves and you don't know shit about em!

Many more things that don't come into mind atm. I ain't saying that PvE will teach you what Vanish is (ee.. ok, i know now!) but fucken hell, there is a huge difference. I guess that kind of difference applies in other classes as well.

if you give some1 your acc and he makes shit with your char.. so be prepared your char gets fucked up for what he done.. coz for me personally no matter who plays this char it is the same char everyday .. so /ignore /kick from guild are not doable backwards. just keep speaking to your firends til u giv them acc, nothing can be done good again with saying "it wasnt plaing me bit my friend".

if person who takes the acc is reatard and brings you in trouble, so u have live with conceqences coz it is your decision to give acc to some1 or not.

I was at the grp at the time as well and the list was nothing but a joke, a bard let himself have a leech, we allready had a loot picker and we had FoPer out of grp for heals still he kept 2 spots for cash for at least 6 hours.
When we pointed out that he better get 1 more ani then have a useless char in grp, he just ignored it as he was getting cash etc, and when my leech dinged 49 i wanted to replace it he invted some1 else and said he was here 1st and should have the loot spot. like i would stand there FoPing and get no cash and do it for the uber fun of it.
And ofc u learn how to play a char by exping in normal grps and ppl who PL there 1st char are just gimping themselfs, but ppl who have exped a few chars to 50 wont be worse thn they are on the other chars and like myself are prolly just bored with the monster bashing that u need to do anyway cause of toa.

XP spot in Cursed Forest for lvl 40+. In the "old" days it was constantly camped by "normal" tank/pb grps and it had a list to make sure grp kept going/ever1 got a chance. Nowadays it's just camped by Animists+leeches.

Xp ain't THAT good anyway.

On that note, I just wanna apologise to you, Xray, for deeming your BM a paper tank, and omitting you from the fins list, somewhere around 2ish years ago....I would also like to apologise to Ebonn, Peach and all the other shades out there ommitted due to what many deemed, their inability to tank a fin. But a fins list is never purely governed by the list holder, as other group members have their say...and, as they do when asked about taking the list....when confronted, they slope off into a cagy silence.
Fins should have become extinct a long time ago, but I fear, without them, Hibernians would have become extinct also.

kind of crap these days, it started with focus shield. since focus shield i have soloed a ranger to 50 and duo exped my enchanter and bb. i think i did about half a level at fins and got bored of just pressing 3 buttons. sometimes i think about exping another 50 but just cant be bothered. i dont want to sit on my arse and getting a insta 50, i want to do it the old way, make friends and have fun. the people i have met in old style exp groups are my closest daoc friends. how many people do you remember after your pl sessions, all you use each other for is to get 50 then never speak to them again.
