More DoD servers?

DOD is soooo much more popular than it was and yet BW still only have 2 servers..

what with beta2 just comming out they are both full all the time. i'm sure there is a CS server that can be axed?

Try a program called "The all-seeing eye" from this site -
http://www.udpsoft.com/eye/

I find it a lot better to use than Gamespy, and it's fully configurable so you can set it up to find just UK servers or European servers or the whole World if you want. You can also set it up to find 'buddies' (as it calls them) and you can see which games/servers they are on. It's a nifty piece of software

but i think he was trying to help him find more than 2 servers...

He is reffering to BW only having 2 servers, yes he could go some where else but clearly would prefer to play at BW.

thankyou walrus but i know of other server i just dont ping as well to them as i do with the GREAT barrysworld.

anyone if i use all seeing eye it makes my system reboot when i enter a game ... so i dont use it :). I use gamespy with BW master to find servers then enter them into HLSW (www.hlsw.de)

shame on u emb for jumping on walrus. ya such a karp

There was no inference that he would like to stay on BW at all so wind yer phreaking neck in!! :upyours:
As d0nk3h said I was trying to point him in the direction of other servers - I play on BW as well as Jolt, Blueyonder, etc, etc, for the variety of other players, thought he might be interested in A.S.E. if he hadn't already used it.

Some of us out here like to help out rather than jump down peoples throats when we think we know it all!!!!!:rolleyes:

Can we have some more DoD servers please? Last time I checked there was 20 000 people playing weekly.Thats MUCH more than a lot of more "popular" games I could mention....

^See there is a useful comment. You could also post in the Game Servers forum as it's more likely to get seen by natrat etc.

Maybe all the bw servers should be linked, so bored cs players could go thru a door into a dod map, pick up a flamethrower, and kick ass. Then they could go into tfc, become an engineer, return to cs, and set a gun up on the intersection in dust. Medics would be on hand to poison campers.

Sounds good to me.



Barrysworld needs more DoD servers, and bigger ones at that. 10 men a side is the bare minimum for some of those new maps, and besides dog1 is far better when there's a dozen or so of you charging across the the beach instead of 8.

Since starting to play DoD a few days ago I have noticed that finding a decent server with spaces has been hard, compared to CS or TFC.

None of yer cheating, spam-fest weapons in DoD, thanks. You can keep yer flamethrowers and rocket launchers. ;)

Tis true. DoD is played more than UT and all its mods put together, RtCW, and (recently) TFC. I think it needs more than two servers, fs.
