Does anyone here have any experience with Mordred, the US PvP server? I'd like to hear how it differs from Camlann, does any solo PvP exist there, what's the current FotM like and how did NF affect on PvP. Thanks in advance.

ps: I'm interested in facts, not speculations aaaand don't tell me to read VN boards please.

i just moved to mordred last weekend m8

started necrofarmbot as usual practice - level 42 now - soon 50 (get a free level tomorrow wuut!)

But having said that, im still in the farm and make cash and pl bot stage of moving to mordred - thus i've not really experianced the pvp except killing or being killed by pkers at xp spots

Having said that I decided to move for various reasons:

1) No noticable ammount of french people
2) NF RAs are nice (wild power 3 for 10 points thanks!)
3) Population balance changes mean double the xp per mob than camlann, and a free level every 7 days
4) Much higher population, however since offpeak time is daytime in the uk you can still xp nicely in the daytime because theres not really anyone around, wheras for the same peace and quiet i used to get up at 5-6am and xp till 11 am for camlann.
5) Seems more organised, such as a LOT more 8v8, since mordred is where people flock to to get away from NF and the zergs NF brings to rvr, mordred is very much 8v8 orientated with decent guilds.
6) Get catacombs beta end of october, and get catacombs live begining of december instead of sometime next march.
7) I prefer american whines to french/german whines. ( I got called a 'meanie poopman' the other day which had me laughing irl for like 5 minutes )

oh and my copy didin't cost anything cuz i already had a us account from back when i decided to try out TOA before it was out here (since a m8 on MLF offered me some pl).

But i will be buying a 2nd account of course, and you can get a Daoc platinum (classic+si+toa+freemonth) box for around $30

o0 i played Mordred, had a lvl 51 Mana eldy called Lakura, i duoed with bot always, the stupid fucks who ran into MoC BoF and bot MoC heal spamming got and yes solo pvp for no stealthers / boneys does exist o0

gah can't edit but my eldy was the no.1 on the server and the average rr is lower than it is here even though the server was made way before camlann. The reason i quit mordred was that people were so stupid, for instance:

1 lvl 50 2 lowbs and a bot taking 2 full grps, admitidly with MoC BoF and SoS, but here people wouldn't be stupid enough to walk into the room and stand ontop of me not even trying to hit me until the 2nd bomb was blown.
Luckily i sold both chars for a "decent" price (which i've now spent on ) and moved to Excal, thankfully people arn't as Arrogant / stupid here. I havent played on any of my decent mordred chars since last december, only my little boney and thats just for chaining some twat who tried to skam me.

omfg please dont leave camlann though i realise why ur going, tbh i think US servers will b so much better than english ones, if only i could b arsed 2 buy all 3 copys of daoc again and 2 lvl a char. will WoW have a PvP server? coz tbh id love 2 start there opossed 2 a regular server, PvP has consumed me now, its so much more fun than normal servers

Mordred sucks...most people there are even more retarded there then the frenchie's/germans on camlann...and to be honest..that means something :O

Pretty much the only fun thing on mordred was Shadowclan, my old roleplaying guild, but that wasn't enough to keep me hanging around.

I played mordred from start -> 5 months ago. no 50s tho
