The last 3 times I've been with groups that killed him, he dropped nothing except some coins. Have we just been unlucky, or has anyone else seen his drop rate change? (This isn't just since the last patch, it's since the one before that.)

A TDS group killed him a few weeks back, I was told he dropped a cloth item and a staff if I remember rightly.

he's the Meanest giant in Dartmoor, and has a trunkload of friends.

You can find him in the little patch of woods East of Golestandt.

Moran is about lvl 72-73.

He may drop a sword, Darksword of Granite with nice stats but only qual 90, a chain hauberk for Minstrels(af 98, dex 12, hits 33, pow 4 and thrust 2) and chain sleeves for minstrels(Ircon Bound Chain Sleeves, af 98, cha 15, dex 6, str 15 and thrust 2).

Heh. He can drop a lot more than that, if the loot tables in my Atlas are accurate (and they've been good so far.) But he doesn't have any drops that are unique to him.

(We got the granite staff of wind from an oracle, I think)

Killed him on Saturday with a guild group.. no drops

Moran drops exactly the same stuff as Oracles and Elders (and the earthmagis etc I think). Only reason to hunt him is the nice looking focusstaves
