Please don't answer without giving this some serious thought. By giving an honest answer you will be able to test where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation, where you will have to make a decision one way or the other. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Consider each line - this is important for the test to work accurately.

The Test

You're up north. . . In Manchester to be exact . . . There is great chaos going on around you, caused by a hurricane and severe floods . . . There are huge masses of water all over you . . . You are a CNN photographer and you are in the middle of this great disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot very impressive photos. There are houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water. Nature is showing all its destroying power and is ripping everything away with it. Suddenly you see a man in the water, he is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud. You move closer, the man looks familiar.

Suddenly you know who it is - it's Alex Ferguson! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him away....... forever. You have two options. You can save him or you can take the best photo of your life. You can save the life of Alex Ferguson, or you can shoot a Pulitzer prize winning photo. A unique photo displaying the last moments of England's most successful manager in the last two decades.

And here's the question: (Please give an honest answer)

Would you select Kodak colour film (ISO 400), or go with the simplicity of
classic black and white?

Take the picture - in hig-contrast black and white, for that classic arty look - start to go over to help him, then realise I don't give a flying fuck about football and head somewhere warm and dry for a pint.

I would take a picture of him tbh, video it, then go to the shop, get some crayons n paper and draw the scene as well, if I still had time I would prob phone a few mates to come down and have a waterside BBQ as well !

Thinking about it, I would probably pop round to Roy Keanes house, pick him up, nip over to Gary Neville's house and collect him too.

Then I'd run to Alex's assistance throwing in Neville and Keane for good measure.

Reminds of the time a mate of mine pulled up outside mine in his new car - it was covered in bits of tree's , branches n bushes etc and covered in dints... He got out and walked towards me in shock, so I asked him what happened and he said "Dude I just ran over Roy Keane" , wondering how this happened and how his car got covered in tree's etc I asked him what happened.. He replied "Well I was driving over here and I saw Keano jogging in the park...so I had to swerve a few times but eventually I ran him over" bdum tttsch!!
(bit crap I know but its topical)

I will remind you of that if by some bizarre chance I am passing a stream/canal/beach/random body of water and see you drowning!
(obviously you would have to have a FH T-Shirt with ya name on for me to recognise you)
