Im equipped the same, never have a watch on me but have the works mobile (which they insist is one of these with a camera, wifi, bluetooth, mp3 player, insanely high capacity memory card and an espresso machine)

First of all I never wear a watch either (well almost never), but I still don't have a problem telling what time it is, +/- 10 minutes.

I mean, we are practically surrounded by watches all day, on you computer, churches, advertising/building clocks, TVs in windows, how can anyone not know the time?

More on topic: I would give him the approximate time without checking my mobile. If he insisted on knowing the exact time, I'd put him on /ignore and change chat channel
