Where can I d/l the Classic version of Euro daoc ? Got a bot puter which is abit crappy so I need classic version on him

well, if u read what i posted u'll see i got a puter just for botting another chr, i got a puter for playing my mains no need to alt-tab then u know

Not sure you can download the Euro version, but you can the US version here:

then just change the update.dat file to the Euro version and it should patch to the euro version.

Also, this classic version uses to SI gfx engine, so alt tabbing should work??

I've not tested this, so someone correct me if im wrong.

I think the download version is actually the SI client - not sure it'll patch to the european version.

I guess if you know anyone who's been playing forever they might have a copy of the classic version you could use to install.

IFAIK the US version wont patch to Euro.

Good luck exping with a bot in the old realm, might be kinda lonely.

get someone to email you the camelot.exe and update.dat and let it patch itself (450mb or so i fink) as longa s you have a reasonable connection its a max. over night job.

Lots of useless replies here to a simple question.

First of all, free warez? What do you think he's gonna do with the files, he needs the account to play, that dont follow the download. All he wants is the ability to play in classic client on his accounts he already owns, but since the only thing selling in most stores here in Norway are the complete package with only TOA engine.

Second, I think most of what he wants is the ability to put his bot at Hibs PK to buff people, not to drag him all over TOA, he wouldnt ask for classic client if he was.

We both came from US servers where alteast I have 5 CDs with classic, 6 CDs of SI and 6 CDs of TOA, but that dont help us here. If someone with a nice bandwith and has played Euro since the good old classic days would be kind enough to make an image and give in PM to Lat, it would be nice. Adding in useless replies dont help much...

2) open update.dat
3) change it to:
Mythic Patch

Hmm, I actually think i have a classic camelot cd somewhere( US version ) i'll try the patcher thingie

And Yea Mith, that's all i wanna do, the bot is TOA activated so i can exp him in Toa on main puter, but when rvr'ing i log him on bot computer on classic and just buff

Didnt know you could patch the US version with the Euro version since they are from two different "suppliers". Will try later today, thanks for the advice. I'll try with the SI version aswell as we like to RvR in it instead of TOA.

And yeah, Lat has some work to do on his topics, SHAME on you Lat

And im not a 3l337 dewd either, i never been in a lleet hardcore rvr guild, Check Norwegian Wood guild on Herald and u can clearly see this Been in NW since i started game 2.5 years ago.

TimerE is mostly people from Stavanger and now with some others added in from other parts of Norway. And some foreigners too ofcourse.
