Hellow fellow Albs,

I have a question regarding monsterrez. I heard that quite a few people use it to pl with. Now I need to pl my bb and I am thinking of temporarily respeccing my flextic so I have monsterrez. My question now is how effective is this and has anyone used this method before to go all the way to 50?
Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Martin.

you really need 3 accounts to make it work well... 1 account is say a paladin, second is a tic and third the pl'ee (sp? :p )

The paladin dies (grouped with the pl'ee,) The tic monsters him and runs through a camp full of low con mobs, say the mid rocoot camp and kills them all. He lets himselrf die to the last rocoot. The tic kills the last rocoot as it heads for the pl'ee then monsters the pally again. Rinse repeat....

Never used it to PL myself, but it is possible to level malice to 10 in less then 4-5 hours. Battler takes like 45 min.

You do get a bad name that way though if you do it in a well travelled zone. Levelled my infs malice and battler doing monster rezzes at the pygmie camp in Lyonaisse. You can pull it like twice per minute but it also means that all the people in the zone get to see "XXX was just killed by a pygmie" twice a minute. You get the reputation of being the worst inf ever that way :)

probably its the fault of my bad english, but can you repeat the part with the pally? what ive understood is that you monster rezz the low lvl alt, make it run to rocots, it kills them.. and so? why is a pally needed?

Well, because at lower level you have low hitpoints and get killed faster. If you use a level 50 shield specced pally he'll be able to kill alot more rocots in 1 pull before he dies. But you could ofc do it your way with green/blue con mobs to the pl'ees level I guess

Maybe it is because I am a gimp, but I found that the character who suicides loses xp along the way, at least my merc did when I levelled malice/battler. Another thing is that the armour degrades rapidly, so don't use any good gear or artis. Will be very expensive else. ;) On the other hand some armour helps in staying alive long enough to kill the mobs. I used the gobo drops for my merc and found it ok... not too good though.

Lol, yeah... I noticed the armor decay factor on my paladin while levelling Malice and Battler on her. When Malice was level 6 already. Thank god I had enough diamonds left in my vault to go buy some temporary armor in DF :)

The only armor type I can think off that can't do it is cloth (except for a PD4 tic that blocks like hell. :D ) Went pretty nicely on my inf too.
