Molvik, what can I expect??

So I really enjoyed Thid for the most part with my Vampiir Isus. Had some great 1 on 1s and group play was also also good.

Got sick of the constant suiciding to lower my xp and stay in thid so I thought i'd cap out to give Molvik a try.

I'm 38 now with free level available in a few hours. Waiting for my new SC kit to be done then i'll once again be hitting the BG's.

I would like to know the opinions of Molvik regulars, whats Movic like compared to thid?

I hear Warlocks are a real pain in Molv, much more than they are in Thid anyway. What about stealthers? they are free rp's to a vamp in Thid (except maybe Brokeninfil), have things changed?

Any opinion is appreciated.

Molvik is good fun for both soloers and grps tho soloers quite often gets run over by the grps . rarely any real zergs around wich is good and as hib there is good grps at times i had great time there with my Vamp that now sadly is to high lvl to go there. Good Luck in Molvik mate

Molvik is a million times more fun than Thid tbh. In Thid certain classes kill everyone because they come into their own earlier on - archers, assassins, etc, but in BG4 everyone is starting to become strong so the fights are a lot more fun.

I had a brief run in Molvik then I hit 39. didnt expect to do well as I was wearing my PVE armour (0% magic resists).

Managed to kill a Warlock and skald at once which was fun but got my ass handed to me by a solo runemaster

It was a quiet day though so I decided to xp and head for the final BG.

Molvik is the most fun bg by far. Great fun running a little tank gank group there vs all the mages and wtfpwn vampiirs and such.

So far Molv been more fun than Thid.
like its been said there not really and set class that just owns every one else.

i had fun running round with a friend killing hibs and albs but its not all 1 sided.
i know out solo wasnt doing to bad got killed a couple of times but a scout but got revange evened it out.
imo molv is better than thid and there more to do take your towers and the CK just adds a bit more to it.

molvik is a crap bg, just scouts abusing the terrain and hibs shrooming the ck whenever someone tries to take it. Stealther pop seems to heavily outnumber the visual pop there which is no fun when we zerged our way through there a few weeks back.

Can only assume you've not had a good experience of it in the short time you were there. BG4 is the best BG there is by far. Much better than Thidranki for the reasons I've stated, and better than BG5 purely from a design level. If Leirvik was the same design but a tiny bit smaller than Molvik everyone would love that one too.

I kinda agree with what Kaisar said. I got a lev. 39 Molvik WL, as I wanted to give bg4 a try since I kinda thought the same and had high expectations. Well, it's a dissapointment. There's scouts/rangers/stealthers everywhere, you can't walk 20 steps primetime without having one picking on you.
Thidranki is funnier tbh.

Ah, so you're Evers I'm playing Niravel and Celestria in Molvik at the moment (elf mentalist + elf champion) and yeah, it's a real blast Hibs are kinda zerging the place a bit as we sometimes get 2fg, although as I type the albs have mustered a midnight zerg of 2fg and are sieging the ck. If only they were on earlier! Us hibbies need our beauty sleep so I suspect a take-back effort tomorrow evening rather than much defence tonight

Yeah was some nice duels, damn tough you BD's

Vamps are always buffed by design m8, they have self buffs and dont require a bb at all really. When I fought you I had 2045 HP's also, which helps alot

Oh and btw its Phixion, Voyager, MCMLXXXIII here. Maybe Ill see you back on Mid sometime when I finish teh Vamp.

Yeah, I tried that in thid but got ripped apart by vendo mode

Maybe worth another try with 50 % fumble debuff I dunno.

Went there last night with Yujie a mincer, only met a couple of hibs, but many warlocks and bds, got boring with the lock DoT able to kill alone, no one alone so logged off.

Yeah it is getting tedious with the amount of locks and BD's about, makes you wonder what mythic was thinking making these 2. Locks are bad but at least you have to put some effort into playing a lock, a BD on the other hand is prolly the cheepest class you can get in the game.

BD's really do make me sick i really wish some people would think twice before taking these into the BG's they just ruin it, completely swing battles.

Molvik is a good laugh as long as there is only 2 or less (2 sometimes can be too much) good warlocks's about. If more it gets boring as you just getted dotted constantly n usually die Unfortunalty there is alot of wl's about.

Your vamp should do well in the bg..have seen some great play by em in molvik.

I also think the vamp is a little over powered also...but then it could just be my under powered arms
