Modem Issue ?

Did a self diagnostic on my modem recently and it said ...

1. Card error
2. Line ok
3. Dialtone ok
4. Dial test ok

Does this mean my modem aint working ?

I am getting the following msgs when i am connected ...

This webpage cannot be displayed ... Dns error ...

And the odd pop-up that reads Win32generic procceses has encountered a problem and needs to close ... sorry for any inconvienience ???

What is the most likely cause ?
