Maybe you can answer this question for me, cos it's something i've often wondered about and never actually got a sensible answer to.

Why make a CG as well as a battle group. The battlegroup leader already has a different colour. You can change both the battle group leader, and the other members of the battle group to any colours you wish.
You can if you want turn off all stuff written by none leaders in your window if you don't want to see the spam.
Since your in the chat group and using it for link deads, then I assume your also reading the cg.

I've seen lots of leaders have a leaders only BG and a CG open at the same time, and I really can't work out how it's different from simply having an open BG chat, other than you have to remember to rejoin both if you LD.

The reason I ask, is when playing I often have a cg open so I can chat with mates i'm not guilded with that are off doing other stuff. I ofc can't do this when i've got to be in both a BG and a CG for a raid when there's really no reason.

Personally when I did raids, I invited Group Leaders into a seperate CG so that - when reporting LDs - They would stand out easier and make me not miss an LD report. When I lead raids I was on TS aswell as having 4 chats running, was a bit confusing but having 1 chat stand out with etc Green is handy for when something as enoying as an LD happens.

If it's just group leaders in the CG then it makes sense. Lots of people seem to have an everyone joins the CG rule tho, which is what doesn't make sense.
