Problem is that not a lot of people just stand still and let u bash them.. so i guess he had 2 choices if he did not have charge up: Get kited around while the ml9 pet spanks you, or try and hit the ml9 pet spanking you... Both scenarios end with just 1 outcome.
I tend to agree, ban the stupid ml9 pets from rvr (or atleast give my rm a pet so i can ml9 abuse something else than my brittles )

Ml9 pets are bollocks tbh. If i try solo on warrior, see a caster, sends pet ml9, and it alone kills me. If i try chase the caster i just get kited, if i try fight ml9 pet, they are usually 95% buffed, and so you will always die. And even if you get close to killing it, casters don't even need los to heal their pet.

And if your in hib, they get damage shields, so even if i can block the blows, i kill myself.

I think if you ml9 a pet in rvr, it should lose it's buffs, simple as that.

It's ridiculous that ml9 pet templars from sorcs, can hit for like 800 dmg sometimes.

Really when it gets to the stage when a heavy tank can't kill a pet on it's own, then i feel there are problems.

My BD is kind of inactive from RvR, so i've respecced him to convoker for some farming. Today i was boored and ran out in the frontiers with a fully buffed commander. Not long did i raom, until a Infil jumped me with a failed PA. I poped ml9. My pet started with a doublehit (dont have screens so can't remember exact numbers). But it looked similar to this:

You pet attack leecher#1 and hit for 700 (-300).
You pet attack leecher#1 and hit for 750 (-300).

So he did ~1400 damage in one swing with the dubble hit thingy.

... the Infil vanished ofc.


But i agree with slirre. ML9 in NF is retarded!

Its a very dumb thing to give casters the ability (through a pet) to out-melee melee classes

Having said that, I love it when Don helps me with Arti encounters with his ML9 pet :worthy:

It's the duration of the ml9 that makes it ridiculous in rvr imo. Get capped spell duration items to swap out and a caster can have a ml9 pet up nearly 2/3 of the time.

It's only situationally OP, but for a solo caster against a meleer with no CC it's stupid.

2 * un'cc able lvl 64 pets each hitting for 4-500 each round and 1 lvl 70 pet hitting for more is pretty sick
