Completed ML8, under 2 hours but sadly we had credit problems with 8.5. The raid is designed in such a way that you would have to redo the whole thing to get credit again.

Therefore, all join Shanessa's ML8 raid on Saturday, and you'll get it done!

One further note:

Soulq was removed from the BG for insulting me. My choice to remove him from the /bg, as clearly stated in the raid rules, was by no means a reflection on my opinion of Shadowlords Society, Nibor, or anyone else related to Soulq. It was a simple decision - insult = remove.

Grats to all that got MLs today, and I'll post about ML9 and 10 when I can.

U asked me nicely , which was unexpected but actual kinda nice to leave your BG for ml6 , which i did without any arguments or questioning, wont lower myself to starting agro for no reason but, is this bcoz i stood up for myself after the ml3 raid , really, its kind of bugging me , especially as if u actually read my posts , i in no way insulted u or even discredited your raid's in any other way, in fact i stated all the other raids id been on with u went swimmingly. It doesnt matter to much really, i only needed ml5 on Quarter for the FoP , hes a farming bot and thats all. Im not going to ass lick you or beg for u to let me on other raids in the future , i dont do that , i have my reasons , but on the other hand i dont want to get on the wrong side of u future reference, while i dont know Beeks personally i talked to him in game quite a bit and he said your a very nice bloke. This is probably true , after all u run these raids time and time again and help people out, but i detect a slight bit of arrogance in there . Yes your a better player than me , in fact 90% of the population is lol. But to ban me from your raids for speaking out against u. I wont lie, i "would" like to come on future raids of yours on other characters, and im not going to try to sneak into them on characters u wouldnt know were me, whats the point. I just hope we can sort it out in a gentlemanly manor sometime .. well god i go on , i shut up now as u prolly fell asleep reading it , im bored waiting for postman and got nowt else to do ..

It really does suck having to defend myself after every raid I run.

My raids are designed to be fast and enable as many as possible to get to ML10 with as little fuss, and in the shortest time.

Last night, ML8 was running smoothly. No problems at all - best ML8 I have been on. Sadly, at the Gaspara stage, which is on the way to 8.5, someone who I won't name attacked the mob against my advice. Never mind, it has a fast repop I told the /bg. This does not warrant telling me how to run a raid, and after replying saying "thank you, but I don't need advice", insulting me.

That = /bg remove, as stated perfectly clearly in the raid rules. Bullshit = bye bye.

Numbers of people on stage .10 of each ML is approximately as follows:

ML1: 96
ML2: 87
ML3: 91
ML4: 102
ML5: 101
ML6: 94
ML7: 83
ML8: 80

Credit was recieved by most of these people, apart from the odd LD, and perhaps only 60-70% of the ML8 due to 8.5 problems.

I thank all of you who have followed rules, done things right, and not complained even if you had problems with credit.

ML9 and 10 will be run in the future, however as a few in my guild did not recieve ML8 credit, this will be postponed temporarily.

Was a smooth raid, shame I nor a few others didnt get ML8, but nevermind this kinda shit happens, nowt you can do.. teh luwi's safe for another week now!

It is his raid; his rules and therfore he's fully entitled to ban me from the raid. I got no problems with that.

If Eggy wants to ban people from his raids he has not to give any reason why he chooses to do so; if u dont like it --> dont join his raids.

From that PoV he was fully entitled to kick me from his BG/Raid. Afterall I did call him an "arrogant tit" (might been 'arrogant twat'; I dont recall the exact wording) in my guild-channel. Eggy heard about this and removed me from the BG; fair enuff.

I dont regret my actions; and I dont play the game 'to make friends with everyone'. I play the game to have fun; if I think something I say it. Perhaps not the most tactical thing; but that's me.

After my removal the entire Shadowlord Society members who where in the BG decided to disband the BG too; I did not ask for 'sympathy' or anything about it. I even adviced to NOT disband the BG in officer-chat; because I dont think the incident is worth much words nor actions. It has happened.

Afterwards Beeks and me had a pretty long discussion in private chat where Beeks gloated about the fact he, as Synergy-member, had access to the SS-guildchat. And 'I should be an example to the community as E&E' and 'I should watch what I would say in guildchat because I would never know who could read with it'.

Rumours I offered the one who could give me the name of the person who 'told Eggy' 10 plats is also not true; I dont really care thát much about the incident I would spend more then 130% of my current cash on such sillyness. I did however get PM'ed by someone anonymously who offered me the name of the guy in trade for 10 plat.

The lessons I learned was how sad some people are they wanna make 10 plat on some gossip and the fact some people in our realm cannot handle even the slightest form of criticism. Afterall the incident started when I told Eggy it was perhaps more wise to not do pre-steps with a zerg involving a NPC who can be killed. The cause of actions clearly displayed that was a correct remark; as the zerg did kill the involved NPC.

But seriously, as you say it's my raid my rules. "Suggestions" are also in the rules as a no-go. If i need advice I'll ask for it. Funny little comments after one person attacks an NPC doesn't help me.

I also believe you are the one PMing me after you accidentally pulled the ML3 shark, where my commands were clearly to the contrary.

I'm not going to post further on this matter; you disobeyed the raid rules and insulted one of the few people leading successful ML raids on the server, therefore I have nothing more to say, and just hope you learn to fully read rules, and respect those doing you a favour in future.

Puppet, if it was down to me you would of been kicked and banned after ml3. Yes u have an rr10 char on pryd. Yes u are E&E. Yes on pryd you can farm anything with shrooms, but this doesnt give you the right ignore EVERYTHING the raid leader on excal tells you to do. You fucked up ML3 for a lot of people, even simple commands like "stick up" you cant adhere to, and you will be found running ahead to next encounter as tho to say "look at me, i know what im doing".

If one or two people in /bg sent Eggy a PM with some friendly advice, I don't think he would be upset about it. With 10 people sending PMs with not-so-friendly advice/demands/insults any raid leader would be pissed.

If you don't like Eggy's ML raid leadership, fine. Join a raid where /bg chat is filled with rubbish from immature idiots, where you have to wait hours for LDs/AFKers and where the hardest part is to stay awake long enough to get credit.
Or, even better, lead a raid of your own.

Two things to clear up:

a) I didnt start the pulling of the big shark. I *PULLED* it off a few guys when it aggro'ed (its aggro by default) them and engaged it (For about 15-20 secs actually). During my engage it suddenly lost about 40% hp (someone using the eel thingie; Eggy?) and the encounter was finished once the zerg hit it and such. Not *MY* choice to finish the encounter NOR start it as it was already engaged in combat BEFORE I decided to engage it

Dont see any reason to blame ME for that; if its wrong to peel off aggro while NOT killing something that is. All I did was change aggro to ME and engage it. I did PM Eggy about what I did. If I didnt have done it the shark would 'just' kill stuff; till Eggy decided it was enough and would have fired the eel-charge too (like he did now; or someone else used it?)

b) About the RR10 comments: Im not the one gloating ingame I got a RR10; nor do I mention it every 5 seconds. I dont recall every saying Im RR10 on Prydwen in a public channel nor in PM's on Excalibur to any of Synergy or anyone who didnt ask specifically about my realmrank on Prydwen. Dont see any relevance in it; and therefore I dont mention it. You are the one bringing it up. My E&E I also dont bring up on Excalibur; Im E&E on Prydwen/Hibernia. However when I hear of a bugged encounter / problems in ANY of the realms I help when I can. Be it Mid/Pryd, Hib/Exc or Camlann or any of the realms.

In the end if u believe sitting on the ground on the stairs or whatever 'fucks up ML3 for alot of people' believe what you believe. The reason why ML3 got 'fucked up' for some of the people is (IMO) :

a) Deciding to kill the big shark before the raid is arrived completely there.
b) Not including the normal Moughart-step as pre-req but deciding to do the farming in ML3-dungeon for the alternative sub-quest and not taking enough time for the farming to get everyone the required drop from the statues.

Your all getting a bit silly, this will just eventually become a fued between SS and Synergy members, licking Eggy's ass, people gloating about themselves etc, overal egotistical thread no-one really cares about but wants too have a laugh at. The more and more you talk, the more and more people cut and paste what you say and twist it in a way you feel you need to justify it again and again becuase you actually think people care.

My comment stands. Walk softly, but carry a big stick. It's great that there are people who have the skill, patience and time to devote to leading ML raids, and doing it well. However, you are not God's gift to your realm. There are people who know how to run ML raids besides you, and if you did not run them, someone else would (possibly not as well, but nevertheless). Eggy's comments in this thread clearly shows he suffers from this highly specific form of self-importance.

I am also disappointed in Marchegiani's behaviour regarding Puppet; I highly doubt that Puppet would go around and brag about having an RR10 (who would do such a thing anyway?) nor being an E&E, and there is frankly no need to jump at every shadow just because your GM comes under fire.

(Note that this is stated as a complete outsider to Albion/Excalibur, I have not been active on the server for a long time. I do not represent Shadowlords Society, and have in fact not been in touch any of my old guildies on a regular basis for a long time either.)

I have no over-active ego here as suggested. I ran the raids primarily for guildies, but also inspired by the PMs I get complementing the raids I have done in the past.

I have nothing against Soulq/Puppet at all. Things got out of hand, he made a comment I didn't like, I removed him, SS joined - fair play. This game community is far too small to create enemies and have minor bickerings with each other. Running raids while doing 20 things at once at the speed I like to run them is a hard task, and emotions get high on both sides of the equation. It's easy to feel unappreciated when you have a lot to keep track of.

No hard feelings from me at all, I wish Soulq the best, and all of SS - a great bunch of guys, led by one of the nicest guys on the server.

I know the topic has been closed, and everyone is eating mushrooms round a warm fireplace... but this arrogance percieved by a few people towards eggy (Rodney) is merely a befuddled mishap of confusion, at the end of the day, he runs large ML raids, as a benefit to his guildies (all synergys members are loyal and will die for their GM, hence the response of Marc) and to realm friends.... we all benefit from Rods efforts in the war on terror !

He has to be short, forward, and strict... or each raid will end up as NTL support !
