Ml7 Raid lotto... fuckup and Phos!!

This thread is realy to Phos (the ministry) who think ive made a big fuckup doing lotto for a cleric hammer he apparently won. (salvage item!?)

First of all i better inform him and his "biatching" friends that ive talked to Starion from BF since i couldnt get hang of Superrabit (the cleric i thought had won) and he said he will talk to Superrabit ASAP.

And another thing - i suggest that Phos instead of shouting up about "unfairness" and "screwing over people" AFTER the incident, that he instead tries to sort it politly and without making a fuzz about it.

Apperently he´s never tried doing a lotto with 60 people where 30 of those PM you about all kind of crap - Mistakes happen simply because your text is scrolled up too fastfor you to read it.

If you think you can do it better then instead of giving me grief - you do the lotto plz.

Alright, if you feel like taking this to FH, be my guest.

First of all something about me... the harder people (you in this case) try to ignore me the harder i shout.

Perhaps the viewers at home would like to know what triggered my behaviour in this case.

You lotto'd an item for which only clerics could roll. You prompty showed a 2-handed mace in BG and said clerics roll.

Me and some other people made you aware of the fact clerics have little use of a 2-handed mace, so i did not roll for that item, saving my chance for a really nice 1-handed cleric mace. Some other people did roll like good little lambs.

When you realised your mistake you quickly said 'oh yeah i meant the 1-handed mace' and you gave that to the highest roller for the 2-handed mace. You did not spam the stats for the 1-handed mace in BG, so i didn't realise on the spot you had given out the nice 1-handed mace. When i realised you had done that (about 10-15 secs later) i felt that it would be fair that i could have a roll for that as well, however you ignored my request and all those that either supported my request or wanted to roll for this as well... you simply moved on.

In your posting here you say i claimed i won the item, which shows how poorly you listened to my request. I simply wanted to roll for it, but you did not give me a chance.

When i kept insisting you deal with this *fairly* you started PMing me and your sentence started with 'Little Prick'. From that moment, any respect left was converted into contempt.

Following your PM, you kicked me from BG, which i swiftly rejoined. Then you said in the BG that I was harassing YOU in PM's, which surprised me.

From that moment on, very few people took you seriously.

I decided to shrug it off, because im not an item hoe and i had better things to do with my time, until you started telling how good you were in raids and claimed i had never done a raid or lotto. Next time you do this, consider that a relatively new character called 'Phos' doesn't mean the player behind it is new as well.

All things considered, the lotto ranks high on the worst ever list.

In the future try to listen to experienced players instead of calling them 'little prick', you might learn something. Instead of trying to correct your mistake in a just way, you tried to ignore it, which failed miserably.

And if you can't run a lotto for 60 people where 30 PM you (which i highly doubt), then indeed let someone else run it. And the excuse that your screen runs too fast won't cut it... turn all PM's off. simple. You might not know this but it *is* possible to scroll up in the chatboxes.

And i'll let the 'You've never run any 60 person raids' argument slide, with the warning that you're on very thin ice there.

All in all i don't really put much value in a drop. What made me angry was the way you treated people. If there's 1 thing i agitate against it's being treated unfairly or seeing others being treated unfairly.

It could be simply fixed: say sorry wrong stats, give right stats, and say those who didn't roll yet random 100 now. Voila no problemo. Yes you get some PMs during lotto's, but that's either because you're not clear about the rules, or they wanna know if something dropped for their class. In the first case you're doing it wrong and you need to give the rules again, and in the second case you simply ignore it or you say "wait and see". But instead you rushed it, and handled it poorly.

I don't believe you missed what Phos asked in bg if the 1h hammer was given away instead of the 2hander: he had about 5 lines with your name in it, you simply ignored it. Yes it sucks to do lotto's, but it's your responsibility to make sure it goes allright. And if it doesn't, than it's YOUR job to get the item in good hands, not something Phos and Superrabbit have to do theirself.

Lotto rules.
These rules are slightly more difficult for organiser during the raid but leads to a much much quicker lotto by guild.

lets say for example there are 4 people of different guilds attending.

a has 10 people,
b has 7,
c has 5 ,
d has 1.

from this, a would have 1-10, b = 11-17, c = 18-22 and d 23.

Each item is then said in /bc followed by just the raid leader doing /random 23. Wherever the number lands, the representative of the guild picks up the item. There are no limits to number of drops one guild can get as its completely random, one day you could get more then your chance, another time you could get less but its all down to the /random


All people in attendance will count for one number even if they're the only person from their guild present.

This way theres no arguments about who can roll for what apart from you set the lvl limit of who can count as a number. There is only 1 roll per item as well so no spam. Write the numbers on a sheet and with the new 'drag item stats to chat window' you can do that, hit a macro for /random and look at the sheet to see whos won. 10 seconds per item.

Just a suggestion but has led to much much calmer lottos on my last raids which this was used for.

I posted here to try to explain to Methos that i admitted i had made a mistake and that i had tried to correct it at the time being. Apparently that went over his head as well as over Kcini´s head too.
The reason i could get him the hammer back as soon as i found out my mistake was that Superrabit had logged of already. Now i tried, but im not a God that can suddenly log into superrabits account and pickup the hammer!!

Im very sorry that people think im such a feckup, but tbh i think people should take a look at themselves before they start throwing Dirt. And Kcini´s little comment about me not noticing Phos "spam".. sry but thats so much bollox. As i said at the time being i had several spams from people on the raid about what items had been lottoed and not - if you like ask Goa for a printout of my log, but plz dont give me more grief.

It is correct i put wrong item in "chat" showing wrong stats - but since im human ive have limitations to how fast i can type on a keyboar. So my choise was Either to try to get hang of Superrabit and correct the mistake or answer Phos´s + others spam. I chose the first wich apparently turned out to be wrong ... tough luck

Sry Methos but if i recall correctly you was the one calling me 'Little Prick' and ye i kick people from BG when they do that - i dont tolerate childish behaviour like that nor do i have the time to respond to it.

+ your quoting me wrongly - i said you have not tried to get 30 Pms at the same time. I never claimed you havent done 60+ people raids.

As i think i explained in my first thread wich you havent read properly: i Tried to correct the mistake ASAP - but due to the fact the player had logged of it was out of my control. Having you and others spamming harder aint realy helping the fact.
Yes i could have turned of PMs but opposite you apparently i belive people will behave and refrain from spamming... again my mistake - ill be a twat and ignore PMs next time...
