Yes

5.10 is the only BG step on ML5 and you can complete that without doing any of the other steps.

When people run the group steps they often do not do 5.9 as this is normaly done on a BG raid, there is no point adding another hour onto a group raid and struggling against the coridoor of snakes when this needs to be done on a BG raid to become a mummy.

Its common for a group raid to do 5.1 -> 5.8 and the BG raid to do 5.9 and 5.10

You need to have the 3 ways items to do 5.9
