ML5 Grpstep raid Monday 25/10 21.00 CET

Gonna make a little ML5 Grpstep raid, sign up and plz state which of the steps from 5.1 - 5.8 u need.

I was thinking to make a grp consisting of the following setup :

Supp SM :
Supp SM/Tank:
Seer: Gyda (my Aug Healer, only need step 5.8)
Seer:
Tank/Light Tank:
Tank/Light Tank:
Hunter:
Optionel:

Bots on the outside is ofc very welcome ( I, myself, can bring a FoP Paccer)
I'll make a final grp setup Monday evening around 20.00 - 20.30, so plz make a follow up on this thread around this time, else i'll pm ppl in game. We meet in Stygia Heaven at 21.00 CET.

Since we only have 1 SM and 1 Hunter we need to do both sides of the dungeon(West and South) both grps together so we will actually do all steps twice. The grp that need credit must do the final blow or else i don't know how to dual grp this raid. Anyway, all must be in Stygia at 21.00 CET(in 30 mins ) and we sort it out there if this setup can't be realised.

Another successful ML5 gsteps raid. All praise to Gyda :worthy: .

Seems there's two distinct ways to do a 'two group' raid. Having been on both on successive (and successful nights) here's a run-down :

Method 1 : two separate groups, each doing one of the wings at the same time. Two separate BGs.
Pros : quick, easier for GLs to control, everyone gets the creds first time.
Cons : mobs a bit harder to pwn with only 8 peeps; drops & scrolls on the thin side, gp may get wiped.

Method 2 : two groups moving around together. One BGL controls the operation.
Pros : mobs die quick,(5.2 : about a minute!) plenty drops and scrolls, survival chances excellent and moving within a wing is quick as aggro soon dealt with. The two runs means MLXP is there for the taking.
Cons : have to do everything twice, moving from wing to wing, so takes time. Only one group at a time gets creds, so tight discipline needed to make sure all get on second run. Needs an experienced (and diplomatic) Leader. Possible (faction?) problems on run to temple - don't run into the nomad crowd.
