ML5 group steps - Saturday 24th @ 2pm

Meeting stygia haven to leave at 2pm british time on Saturday 24th April.

Would like to run a group through ML5.1 to 5.8, if you are interested please signup below. Please state if you need these steps or just want to come for the loot/MLXP.

Paladins and guardbots please state your shield spec and how much MoB you have.

I know I have stated "Any Class" above but I will be sorting a group out based around optimal balance to get the raid done asap and most efficiently. Any class with damage ability is appreciated, an ice wizard and a merc would be most appreciated.

Preference will go to those I know are capable and reliable, will list a couple of primary reserves incase people suddenly drop out before the time so people have an idea.

Will update & bump this thread with the final group setup when all is sorted.

i'd be happy to run the 2nd group if there was someone there who'd done it before and knew the way around at least vaguely...

as i said, i havent done this one before, but a bit of info from VoS and a couple of MLxp leechers in the group would probably be fine.

It says you can do this with a fairly gimped group, so if you can make a 2nd group out of the people that have applied so far we should have enough for 2fg and reserves. Theres certainly 2 extra clerics there and a few blockbots (no offence breuse)

... as i see it, the dungeon has 2 halls that have identical mobs in them, so it can realistically support two full groups that do the stages seperately without getting in each others way - and then meet up for the harder final stages

It takes around 1.5 to 2hr to do the steps listed for this raid (the group steps)

Yep the dungeon can support 2fg (two sides to dungeon with duplicate mobs) its just if everyone who has posted here turns up and the 2nd fg has someone able to lead them around...

5.9 and 5.10 is an extra 30min to 1hr depending how efficient the groups are.

The problem is if one of the two groups gets delayed heavily, linkdeads, someone leaves etc. etc. there maybe a large gap waiting for both groups to have 5.1-8 completed.

FOR NOW I will be doing the following:

1. Tomorrow night posting the 8 people for this 1fg raid
2. Posting list of people not in that 1fg
3. Those people left over (appears to be balanced enough at first glance, at least pala, 2x cleric and blockbot duplicated so far) can setup a 2nd full group to do 5.1 to 5.8 concurrently if they so please to do so (someone else will need to run you around, though)
4. We'll decide at the time if we want to continue to 5.9 and 5.10 as 2fg.

As long as you keep your * of the Way items safe you can go back to do 5.9 and 5.10 at any time in the future if we cannot do them on saturday.

Devlinn will be in charge of running the 2nd group through 5.1 to 5.8 (Yussef on Ramut can advise you on any tactics/locations etc)

We will be doing the plan outlined above:
- Both groups do 5.1 to 5.8 indepentandly in diff sides of dungeon.
- Once finished will see if enough from both groups are still interested in doing 5.9 and 5.10

Loot wise: Any loot will be /random 100ed to any class who can use the item, priority to going to chars on the raid. If no character on the raid wants an item then the lotto will be opened up to 50 alts.

The second group wont be my responsibility. I cannot guarentee we will definatly be doing 5.9 and 5.10, as this raid was posted originally excluding those.

Anyone listed for the group who realise they CANNOT ATTEND please post back here asap so we can get replacements. Those listed as reserves will be prioirty for taking the place of any dropouts.

See you saturday @ 2pm british at Stygia Haven. The full group steps should take around 1.5 to 2hr.

Any changes to the plan or groups will be posted as new posts to the bottom of this thread, if you are listed above please check this thread regularly before Saturday.

I also know of quite a few peeps who are stuck needing the 5.9 and or 5.10 steps still. Maybe if you're feeling extra generous, an advice to various alliances, at the appropriate time, would bring you extra bodies to do 5.9 & .10 easily and quickly.

If not, chances are we (ok, maybe I) will be looking to run a seperate 5.9/.10 raid later this week. I've actually only been waiting for a certain people in my my guild to set a date they'd like to see this run anyway.
