Greetings all,

As thread says, i will try to lead again this ML5 Group-Steps (.1,.2,.3,.4,.5,.6,.7,.8).

Date : 22th November 2005
Meeting Point : Stygia Heaven
Departure : 20.00 GMT
Requirements : ML1 abilitie to enter ML5 Dungeon

This steps require some specific classes to be "easier".
Don't be upset if for some reason i don't pick you up, but all depends on classes attending :(

BG will be up in Dyonisis at 19.30GMT. I will leave at 20.00GMT. If anyone of the final group is not there until 19.55GMT i will pick someone in BG for replacement.

All drops will be decided by autosplit until we get to step mobs. The drops of step mobs will be class specific lotto after the completion of all Group-Steps we will do (.1,.2,.3,.4,.5,.6,.7,.8).

I will make more of this ML5 Group-Steps (and perhaps ML7 Group-Steps) in the next month too as i know they are not easy to be done by casual players.

Sign up if you are interested and can attend.

Did them yesterday in a setup I thought would struggle, but turned out to be the quickest ML5 group steps I've ever done - completed in an hour.

Heretic
Cleric (46)
Sorc (gimp Swede)
Merc (thrust!)
Scout (49)
2h Paladin
Shield Paladin
Armsman!!!

+out of group theurg

Really PBAE isn't needed. In fact, you'll find yourself resting in downtime a lot. Tank groups are better in there; slice through mobs and carry on.

Just my 2c

My only issue is the splitting mobs.

I've always done that 2 specific steps in two ways : always engage the mob (pally preferably because heal chat aggro hold) and with pbaoe or arrows. Both ways work fine if your bow/pally armor dont have reactive procs.

But with your Heavy Tank setup, i believe those scarabs were "delicious" :)

The downtime for power can take much longer than your setup since with 2 pallys all the tanks had end :)

Thanks for your 2c. That's a way ppl can see this can be done with good an willing players and "specific setup" is players that can achieve.

skorpio get other cleric reju with fop !!!

There will be a fop cleric that will join us in our adventure for backup support ;)

I hope we dont get too much trouble with healing, since my BladeTurn will help a bit, and we got Gibrock to help us filling power when needed.

Just need a shield paladin, and we will go in this adventure.

If you have an ice wiz a pally while nice isn't really needed since the icer will be doing all the damage anyway. While the pally is nice for engaging the spitting mobs, any tank with a prot on a cleric and guarding the wiz should be fine. Just taunt it 3 times at the start.

The last time I did these steps we used

1 sorc
1 heretic
3 cabalists
2 buffbots
1 botted mincer

actually went quite fast as well :)

Thanks all for coming.

Despite 5.1 mob was down in the dungeon we went, we could manage to do all steps fast and smooth.

Very well played by all. Again, good and willing players is what makes a great group setup.
