ML5 encounter bugged?

Is Duamutuef (the ML5 scarb spawn dude) bugged or what has changed since patch because he is now unkillable. We can't use the bleed or dot technique and we have tried the hit and run method on VOS and the arrow trick and nothign works.. he just insta heals after repop..

Anyone found a way to kill him since patch if so please post as we are stuck in here now pulling our hair out.

did it with 1fg. Key is to kill the scarabs fast enough for the mob not to regen hps back.

Oh well the problem got solved by accident in the end... we left him to wait for a pair of icewizzies to come and help us and when we got back to him another group was on him... they killed him.. we got credit.. they didn't o_O

We did it with Ice wizards for alts, was fast and funny :)

Bleed/dot/running away doesn't work. What does work (reliably) is:

Ice wizard pbaoe for the scarabs.

HIGH melee damage hitters only on Duamutef, preferably archers from range, but high melee only if you don't have any archers.

If your casters start to run out of power, have a paladin engage Duamutef after he appears, while the casters rest.

Theurgist spamming baby pets at Duamutef also helps massively.

We just did that trial using arrows, and it was (eventually) fine. The key seemed to be not using damage add, including chant, and to have shootists firing from melee range.
