Ml5 BG Raid - May 27th 20:00 CET

I'll be doing a Ml5 bg raid on thursday, would be nice if we could get enough people and keel Ammut.

You need steps 5.1-5.8 done before you can join in.

You also need 3 items of the ways (Resin of the ways, Mask of the ways, Wrap of the ways) to be able to finish 5.9.

If you already have 5.9 done then you don't need the 3 above items, the npc @ the 5.9 room will transform you into a mummy.

If you can (should, as your tank benefits a lot from this in pve anyway) bring a legendary weapon, as the adds Ammut spawns have 99% immunity to slash/thrust/crush damage

Bg will be on Manoakisgeci @ 19:30 (I will be waiting in the Halls of ma'ati)
As usual only 99%+ items will be put on lotto.

Important stuff regarding water+bugs in the dungeon:
-Do not stick anyone/anything or go afk! If you have to go afk and it's really really urgent then tell me in bg and we'll stop for a few minutes.
-When we get out of the boat on way to ammut, DO NOT GO NEAR ANY OF THE WALLS.
There is a bug here that allows you to fall into the ground where the water flows and die.
- Some always mistake the boat for a moving platform. It is not, it is just like any of the boats in TOA so you have to double click to board it, NOT walk on to it (you fall into the water if you do that)

Well was wondering if anyone want to make a fg and do the group steps then.
I only need 5.8 got the other group steps but ofc we can do em all. Iwill participate as BD and we kinda need a sm for 5.2. If you are interested in joining to do the group steps i'll try make a group around 19cet Wednesday evening.

You don't need a SM for 5.2 at all.
I haven't figured it out completely yet, but what seems to work well is to have a shield tank engage him while people attack him using ranged attacks (from within the room).

A Hunter does very good damage on him, and my Thane contributed by DDing but that did about half the damage of the (45 bow spec) Hunter. He went down quickly enough anyway. If he splits into scarabs, just get out of the room until he comes back.

Getting out of the room: That never worked for me, when we were able to do it we had a sm to kill the adds. Other times without a sm we got out of the room and the adds didn't despawn. The scarabs wandered about happily. He also splits from dding so I don't know how did you do it.

Engage: You can't engage mobs/players for 2 minutes after the last attack was made on them

I know quite a few ppl that need ML 5 BG steps.. and Im sure I can get a full group of LoM's together by thursday.
I know we will probably need a few more.. So I hope others will join too.

Prolly no need to cancel it. Example, take last night's ML8 raid. Only a few people replied to say they were coming, over 100 turned up!!

For thoose that wonder about step 5.2, the running out tactics work. I have compleeted 5.2 four times and 3 of those were with the running out tactic, the only important thing is to keep everyone on their toes so they do not attract aggro. This way you can do the step on very few people, and you dont need any specific classes. The way to do it is described at visionofsages I think.

I saw it working for my brother today a 10-15 minutes ago but never worked for my groups, must be people not legging it from the room fast enough or sumit.
