I will continue arranging masterlevel raids during daytime on fridays, since the previous raids have gone so smoothly.

Type: ML3 - presteps required (read below).
Day: Friday, 28/1-2005
Time: 12:00cet
BG: Nerds

Meetingplace: Haven of Aerus (BG is up atleast half an hour before departure)

New ML3 Pre-Steps (Copy of text from VoS):
==================================

With the last patches, all the pre-quests can be done within the Temple of Twilight.
These steps have been done with 1 full group.

Prior to zoning inside the Temple, speak to the Triton Treasure Hunter. He can be found just inside the temple archway.

Make sure you select Alternate reason, and end with both Antioos and Kepa quests.
Verify in your journal, you should now have 2 new quests.

For Kepa, M3T2, your journal will state you need either of the following, to seek out and
Kill Moughart or Speak to the Triton Brigand.

For Antioos, M3T5, your journal will state you need the following items, Sword/Egg/Triton Shaman Necklace

Do not look for this in your ML list, it is a subquest that shows only in your journal.

Once you port in, buff up and you are set to go.

Head East, until the passage goes down to the lower level.
Continue heading eastward, until you see an intersection with 3 Octopus swimming about.
There are 2 passages North and 1 South. Take the first Northern passage. This actually leads to where Moirai can be later found with the raid.

At the end of the tunnel, stay on the left hand side and surface. Stay along the wall and get ready to fight.

The Pregnant Cobras will almost all come in when you pull. These drop the egg you will need.
The Gorgons can be pulled 1-by-1, they will drop the Sword.

Continue until everyone in the party has both items. If you are more then 1 group, it’s suggested to reform the groups once one has the items, and place those that are missing it with the tanks, to ensure the group gets the drop. Now that everyone has those items, go back south to those octopus and head eastwards again.

At the end of this large passage, the eastward path will become a smaller tunnel. You can farm the Eels at this spot for their stomach, if such will be needed for M3T7 on the raid.

The east tunnel will curve to the north, at the first intersection head eastwards again. Move slowly at this point, as when the tunnel opens up there are schools of barracuda about who will agro non-stop. The best method for 1 group is to pull from the tunnel entrance until you clear as many as possible, then head eastwards along the upper south wall until the tunnel narrows again. Stop to clear agro there again.

Make sure no pets are on agro, and nobody gets itchy fingers. If you kill the brigand at this point, slap your party and stop reading this walkthrough.

Move along eastwards still until another 4-way intersection, you’ll know it’s the right one as there is a small rock formation in the center of it. Inside the east passage, you will see the Triton Brigand.
Have everyone in the party speak to him. He will update your Kepa quest. You will then need an Orb
which is dropped from a Sentinel.

Continue eastwards past the Brigand, squeezing by some rocks. At the next intersection, take the northern passage. This is entrance to Laodamedia. Surface on the left side and pull the statues there.
These statues will drop both the Orb and the Triton Shaman Necklace.

Once everyone has the orb and necklace, return to the Brigand. He will ask for the orb and return to you a potion.

At this point, everyone in the party should verify their journals. Both Kepa and Antioos quests should state for the player to return to said NPC and give them these items.

You should all be set for the raid at this point. If you feel good about how things have gone to this point, you can tempt yourself and take a shot at Sinovia, M3T9, who is just in the south passage from the Brigand.

Way too early. No chance at that time.

Wish I could make it, but, like most people, I work during the day.

I'm purely interested in getting the actually count of people that can come to this raid, - rather a long list of all the ones that cannot with their different reasons why...

I know that most ppl can't play daoc during daytime, but there is also a very big group of players that DO play daoc at daytime. In my own case, I can ONLY play daytime... So, in respect to all of you that arrange raids at 1800cet or later, - I can't come to those - and that's why I arrange my own ML raids during daytime.

Last time I arranged a ML3 raid during daytime, we managed to get ML3.10 done with about 3-4fgs. That was half a year ago, and yes - we had very good group setups for the encounters. However, the encounters are said to be easier in this patch, so with some good 3-4fg like on last ML2 raid we should manage.

About prereq I think I'll run a group around 21:30cet Thursday evening, I'm going to go for the original way of doing prereq, this since I know where/how that is done.

More about prereqraid in seaparate thread when I get home tonight.

Today we farmed the ML3-prequests.

We did it the "old" way, by killing Mourghart in meso followed by killing a Triton shaman (they usually swim nearby and around him).

Afterwards we farmed the egg+sword at the ML3.1 water-level enterance inside the Temple of Twilight. We got wiped twice, as the Gorgons Snake Keepers have some wierd adding when we pulled the Pregnant Cobra. A nice BB rezzer outside the group was our life-safer. :)

Sword was easy to farm, as the gorgon guardians/spellcasters/lifedrainers came 1-by-1 when being pulled. Just took some time, as max 2 in the group gets the sword when it drops.

As more and more ppl got added to the farming, we did farm a LOT of eggs+sword, and I personally killed Mourghart+shaman 3 times today.

I unfortunately don't have time to continue helping ppl farm tomorrow, as I will have to attend a work meeting all day tomorrow. If you still lacks the presteps, I hope some else can help you (guild/other raiders) to get set for friday ML3 raid.

- If a majority still doesnt have the egg, there is a chance we might stop helping those at the raid (we will anyway pass the cobras+gorgons atleast twice when entering waterlevels). I for sure got a "wakeup call" that the egg wasnt that easy to farm as I tought. But I DO want everyone to have completed the Mourghart+Shaman quests before the raid starts. And the sword is also pretty easy to do yourself with a BB or guild/pve-mate.

Good luck to all of you to get ready for the ML3!

Hehehe... So I blew it again!

After getting wiped at kepa onced, I logged my BB (Spellcrafters) to rezz everyone before total wipeout - and then forgot to add Spelly to the BG after relog... So, no ML3 on the toon I wanted it for, but I guess there will be other ML3 raids...

Thanks to all for staying 6-7 hours and a splendid raid today! I think we managed to complete nicely consider the very low DPS in the groups (read: tanks). I was a bit worried after the Kepa wipe if we actually could manage Medusa at all. Glad you all proved me wrong in thinking so for a moment, and GRATS WITH ML3 ALL! :)
