Hello,

Is there anyone willing to organize a complete ML2 raid (exept the Trial 2.8 - solo encounter)?

I'm still not fully familiar with TOA to organize this myslef so if anyone willing to organize and ofc ppl willing to do it please reply :)

Willing to do it, but making ML2 raid public will cause huge problems with ML2.10. ML2 could be one of the greatest MLs there is if it was not for the buggy, and really anoying coding of the ML2.10 encounter.

This encounter can cause a whipe by:
1 noob running inside,
1 noob not reading the /bc,
1 noob getting smart,
1 noob knowing it better,
1 noob not paying attention,
1 noob not doing what he is told!!!

4 of mine 6 attempts to do ML2.10 caused to fail becouse of one of the noob reasons, 1 failed becouse of bad luck and mine last public /bg did make it.

Yes I got no problem doing a ML2 raid, I just refuse to do it with the random people becouse there is atleast 1 noob or to manny people to do that encounter.

As far as I know this ML can be done with 2fg so don't supose it will be that hard to keep a hand in ppl and explain exactly what they can't do :D

But I see your point :S

Trouble starts when 1 person is not in /bg then runs in (ofcourse with 2 spitting snake) and expects he can join in. Or 3 friends run in towards somebody causing the spikes to activate.

And the trouble continous.

But ML2.1-9 is easy done with 2FG but can be zerged for max/easy effect, ML2.10 is best done with 2FG.

Doesn't seem to be many ppl willing to have ml2 done anyway :D

What the hell, I give ML2.10 another go. I be on as Vaonia in Stygia at 19:00/19:30 GMT.

If people listen I then do ML2.1 to ML2.10 after it (will have a 20 min break (/bg stays up) to get credit for the ones who finished ML2 but I expect then that they will come back to help the others for sure, ML3 needs a lot of ML xp.

I close the /bg as soon as I got the classes/people needed. I really do not want more then 3FG. And Paladins, Clerics, Earth Theurgs are heavily needed. For these classes count, PM me if the /bg is closed!

Rules:

- lotto after ML2.10 (each time we do it)
- who spams /bc needlessly gets kicked
- who whipes (or almost whipes) the /bg becouse he did not do as he was told gets kicked

Arms/Infils do not forget to take with you enough bolts, and all classes are needed/usefull. This is one of the more infiltrator/scout friendly encounters.

BTW, 1 of the rules should be 2.8 trial done (solo trial) it's pretty much a waste of time if ppl don't do it before the raid starts

The whole of ML2 can be done easily and quickly with 1 solid group. If you go over 2fg, it gets exponentially slower.

3FG goes prity fast through ML2.1 to ML2.9 (can zerg some mobs like 2.9 and kill the adds fast in 2.6).

Things that cost time is the chess game and people whiping all players at ML2.10.

Reason why I start with ML2.10?

Easy, happens to often that you do 2.1 to 2.9, then people leave for bed, so new people join missing 2.3 and 2.9, do them, but people leave again, etc...

So I start with ml2.10, then ml2.1 to ml2.10, etc.

And if I do not keep mine word you can flame me here :)

edit: 2.8 solo trail is always outside the Raid, people who not have it have bad luck, I do hope somebody brings a North Gate Key with him so the chess game can be done in the break, that would safe a lot of time!

still can't understand the 2.10 point... :p i'll show up anyway :)

As far as I know most ppl just want 2.10 then leave (ml xp)... And with the break even more ppl will leave but that's what just happens in most random ppl hunts...

With ML2.10 there's a practical limit to the number of people who can feasibly do the raid. If you stand too close to other people in the room, big spikes come up through the floor and wipe most of you out.

If I were you I wouldn't complain about people leaving, I would complain about too many people staying ;)

(and as the rest of ML2 can be done with anything over 1fg you shouldn't have a problem)

Problem is when the wrong people leave or to manny people storm inside the room. If we first finish 2.10, then I can almost be sure we also do not have to much for the 2nd go on 2.10.

In total about 50-60 drops where lotto'd in the end (after sucseeded 2.10 and after failed 2.10), about 15 scrolls, 1 key and 2 cauldron's.

Not a bad Haul.

Sadly enough some people did miss 2.3 & 2.9 :(

In the end we had a go on 2.10, we had the right tools, all went smoothly till we had a lag pull and ended up with Runi & 2 Spitting Cobra's inside. It was way to late to start over again.

I try to do 2.3, 2.9 & 2.10 this week again for who missed it.

was a real smooth raid up till the lag pull

bad game design or intented to be near impossible

who knows
