ML2 raid - Thursday 26th August

have heard quite a few peeps need this (including me) so...

meeting @ Stygia @ 6pm bst

pre-req's - solo step + chess step (no not gonna do it/go near it)

should be done @ latest of 9pm (depending on 2.10)

also - if anyone has key's/items spare for this could they PM me plz (on here)

As I hadn't managed the preqs (duh!), went along for the ride. At some point during the raid 2.7 needed repeating, so I went off and did Chess and solo, then found myself back at the crack prepared to swim home. The main zerg was just about to do the boss-man for a second time, so on the off-chance I asked for (and got!) escort to ledge exit - where I lagged straight into the sea. After a duel-death and rezz I was up on the ledge and ran into the room just in time to witness the last 2 hits and so got cred. wooo.
Perfect example of unselfish play. Mnay tx to all.

Then you were misinformed.​

When I came to do the chess, I had not managed to associate with a piece the previous time and most everybody had left - I figured I was alone. I had to try it a further three times to get it to work, since only one of the pieces was associated. Although I noticed a couple of characters in the room, neither of them messaged me at all - or if they did I sure didn't notice. So what was I supposed to do? I may be lots of things - but psychic ain't one of em. Time was very tight, but I'd have waited a bit if they'd said. In the event, I can't see why they didn't just do it after me.

In any case, there is nothing that can be done to 'help' anyone at that stage - they just associate with a free piece like anyone else. I'm sure it would have succeeeded earlier if they'd done just that. I knew nothing about this 'not nice' behaviour of mine until doing the next step, the solo, when one of these characters wouldn't buff me because he imagined I'd ignored him. In any case, if he has any beef with me, why didn't he complain instead of getting you to do it for him?

Do you think I'd refuse help when it's asked for? If so, it's think again time...

PS. Apologies to Baldgrim (name taken from my notes). I'm always getting told off about my handwriting - it's nearly as bad as my typing. Maybe I'm gonna be a doctor....
