Having done ML1 last week I was wondering how many people are on the ML2 track now.

I'm looking to spend the next few weeks putting together ML2 bg's and also having a bit of fun hunting for artifacts and items.

Anyone interested get in touch here or ingame.

Are people still meeitng in volcanus to build groups too?

Would love to - think several in my guild would be most interested, too. Just a couple need to finish ML1 and we'll have at least a FG for ML2.

Might be able to finish it off tonight, setting the group up for later in the week.

Stygia is the place for ML2 - its all done in a dungeon near there (well I suppose 2.10 isn't but what the hey?). I'd be interested in tagging along for ML XP if you need a Healer, I still need potty training but atleast I won't whine about not getting 'teh uber' XP ;)

I did wander into the ML2 dungeon over the weekend but got all confused by the 3d ness of it (but then again decent used to hurt my brain) couldn't actually find anyone in there. so I just went off killing things in the desert instead.

Hopefully there will be a few casual gamers/people with work and lives who want to do a couple of hours in an evening towards ml's and general exploring/artifact hunting who don't want to face the hardcore sessions a number of people are doing.

Same here :)

I'll pitch the idea to the rest of the guild on our boards.

Slight aside: Doesn't your missus work for BulldogDSL? If so, tell her to make sure I get my 2Mb connection!

She does. although it's bt who cause the problems. Even i can't get a 2mb connection because my exchange sucks. If you live in central london though you could be laughing they are trialing 8mb+ adsl. I think the other day they put in a 24+mb line into the home of one of their engineers as a test....

Wish I did, sometimes - would be easier to get a decent job :(

Still, back on topic: I've posted a link here from our boards (someone's already followed it ;)), so I'll hopefully see the outcome tonight!

Well last night went from bad to good.

About 3fg's formed to do the whole track of ML2 last night. There was a lot of faffing round in the beginning and some groups took over 40 minutes to get to the cave, but we made good getting everyone through 2.8 in that time.

Then it started to go pearshaped.

A number of people on the raid hijacked it to get 2.10 done. We went along with this, but after 2 hours of failed attempts we were getting pissed off as over half of us needed to get the proceeding steps done. In the end there was a shouting match and 1fg of us just walked out to get some of the others done. By this time it was gone 11pm though. We did manage to get 3odd fg's back up to do a run and it was going well when I had to bail at 12:40. I'll be around later tonight or tomorrow to form a bg to go through them all.

TBH peoples attitudes last night really pissed me off. People were lying to us to get us to do 2:10 for them and completely wasted the night for the people actually trying to work their way through.

Yeah, it can be frustrating to do stages again, but it's not that urgent to be the first to get the ml's. When I was doing ML1 I spent ages helping people through the earlier stages occasionally getting one or two more each time for me. It's not that much hassle and it's good experience.

Next time I'm taking charge and we will do every stage that people need on the raid with no whining. Although I advise everyone to get the solo stage done beforehand as that does take a lot of time if a number of people need to do it.
