ML2.8 today (01/02/05) 8pm GMT

Hi Hi

I know a hand full of people need ML2 presteps (including me) so I am going to try get it all sorted. I'm doing ML2.8 today as its an easy step and considering my nOObish knowledge of ML raids I will take each step one at a time and slow. If you can handle this and need the step then come along.

I've got an idea what to do and even tho this enc seems to be completed solo, grp members can help each person get enc in turn.

All that is left is to note that items worth a loto will get random 100 and anyone who wants to join please note your char name and class here. Anyone who does come and has more epxerience of ML2 than me is welcome to lead the grp, if not i will do my best.

I have 2 chars up for ml2 and thus need the prequest:
50 merc + 45 bb spec cleric

can I bring both?

2.8 is a pretty easy solo step, why not doing 2.5 as its often pre on many ml2 raids.

So far there is np with bringing 2 chars imo, but its possible (to make it fair) one might have to drop into BG if people with only one char turn up and we get more than one full grp.

As for 2.5, thats next on my list. Thing is as I said in start I am very new to ML raids and dont really want to walk before I can crawl if you catch my meaning. Need to learn things by starting easiest possible and getting harder but for sure I will either do 2.5 today after 2.8 (if I am comfortable I know what to do without wasting ppls time) or in the next day or 2 when I have had a chance to read up on it more.

ML2.8 went well although not many people showed. I took a look at 2.5 straight after but needed a key to open the North gate. A m8 informed me that I need to kill a hard con to get this key or buy it from housing for 2p. Anyone know another way to get this key solo with only a cleric?

Hehe yea sure did ... Ramsha m8 if you want to give this a try 2n8 let me know. The other GM for our guild quit daoc last n8 :eek2: for some time so I cant access the 50 pala any more. Can prolly do this with my 50Sight Necro & 50BB but would be a lot easier just to heal you with cleric the enc as eggy says is rly easy so I'll give it a shot today.

O!K had a good try at this last n8 with Ramsha. We got owned.. here is what happend.

Followed tunnel into Sobekite and as soon as you enter the tomb Rionne is standing in front of you along with her reflection. I thought her double was some place else but obviously I was wrong. Still we grped, buffed up and attacked the reflection first trying to keep cleric out of agro range. As soon as we hit the reflection both purple cons attacked which proved a little too much. Heals from my cleric got me agro v fast and we died. Anyways, I went back with necro + BB and thought that if I was not grped there is a chance I will only pull one con.. I was wrong. Again both Rionne attacked and although the necro would have owned 1 vs 1 it was too hard with 2 vs 1 and then BB take agro. So I'm a little stuck on how to get Rionne to split from her shadow (if possible) so that each con can be slapped in turn. I think if they stay together I will need a bigger grp to get the key for the chess game.. which is ironic when the game is easy to solo.

Anyone have some ideas? ty in adv

You can't split them, they are linked even when solo.

We did it in a full group without healing, I am almost certain a paladin cleric and tank would be able to do it without problem...suggest you just increase your numbers if you are having problems!
