Ain't that more like, 2 items you "claim"? Taking one for yourself, and giving another (the SoD) away instead of paying out of your own pocket which seems to have been the standard way for doing, for FH ml10 raids at least.

so thats two out of perhaps 10-11 drops not available for lotto.. so if lucky 4-5 usual drops + 4 SoDs.. and for a raid to complete around 50 people.. and thats pushing it if just one mass-LD happens..

I've had trouble getting around 50 on a no-claim raid.. and of course I wont join this one.

Giving SoD (silly item) to portalfinder is acceptable though. But what if raid fails, will finder still get SoD? You did promise one away to whoever found it.

While your input is appreciated, I wont be paying any heed to it. The reasons for that are simple: While ml10 is the easiest of the raids, it is not nothing. And if you (shrye/fend) have such problems with this, I advise you to take your "advice" to your own court and arrange your own raids.
Secondly, I need an item from ml10. And while i could go to all the ml10 raids that are (about once every 3 weeks or whatever) and have 2/100ds of a chance to get that item. (or I could farm whatever forever to get enough cash to buy it) This way, I have a better chance at getting the item, and im helping midgard in general getting items(not very many i know) but more importantly getting their ml10 ability.

Now, you might find this incredibly selfish/lazy/noobish or whatever. That is your opinion and your entitled to that. But until I see you two arranging raids where you follow your own "advice" I wont pay it much thought to be fucking honest.

If no ppl come, so be it. But nothing is better then a nice smooth raid with a fair amount of ppl getting cred etc.

some of us have jobs we need to do to pay the mortgage and various other bills.
In my line of work if something goes wrong i have to stay and fix it, its in my contract so im bound legally to do it.

If i could have i would have run the raid anyway

I got no intention of arranging ml10 raids, it gives me too much of a headache to lead through people who doesn't pay attention for me to bother. Rather prefer leading small raids where everyone can at least focus on the task and where you know there's a good reason if someone should decide to afk.

On the other hand, I hardly care about how much you claim or not, I don't need ml10 on any of my characters. I merely commented on you actually taking two of the items that drops, rather than only one of them as you make it appear to be (which I don't agree with either - if you really need to claim something, at least do some proper work for it too, ie. you ought to pay the portal finder out of your own pocket and not the raids' pocket, or just find the portal yourself ).

Personally? Never claimed as much as a yellow tourmaline on the (in the area of 8, don't remember precisely) raids I've led and my personally standing is that I won't begin on it either currently, partly because I don't enjoy leading (afk'ers).

I dont care if raidleaders claim something - I'm there for the MLsteps.
But when they never answer on the question: "What will you claim?" I start to wonder if they claim the most valuable item!!! I havn't asked you yet

Instead of saying "I claim 1 item - You (and other raidleaders) should tell what item you will claim. If the item doesn't drop, dont claim anything else... (my opinion)
