helping on ML Raids that you have previously completed the ML for

Artifact encounters
-or-
Triton Shamans (low ML xp at higher ML)
-or-
RvR

Is there a nice way of accruing MLxp at a sustained rate ?

Some of my guildee's need to accrue a heap of ML xp to get ML8 in
time for the ML9 raids coming up.

The problem is they play at funny times, meaning they cannot always
be on to help with a Raid, Artifacts are not 'regular' ML xp and RvR does
not offer a sustainable rate of ML xp.

I heard somewhere certain mobs in DF give ML xp ?

Is this true of PoC also ?

Is there anywhere that a small group could farm ML xp on mobs at a
sustainable rate ?

A good idea is:

Camp Shades of Mist, wait for a pop. Once it pops, get your group/groups that need MLxp and pop them in a /bg. Take the cloak, kill a few of the mobs (they give, or at least gave, nice MLxp). Once you've killed a few of them, go and stand outside of the circle, and iirc the mobs should repop again and the encounter reset.

Rinse and repeat until all have required MLxp.

You might need to wipe out to get it to reset, I just can't remember.

Or, farm CB...gives about 5% a kill at ML7 iirc, and has an insta-10min pop or so.

Doing the SoM thing used to work at least, and you also get a SoM at the end, and a HELL of a lot of salvaged metal/rog drops.

This sounds like the best option so far, do you know if the MLxp is greater
at lower ML's - i.e. if you are ML3 do you get 17% each time or something
like that ?

Yep, the higher the ML you are, the more MLxp will be required to progress. So at ML1, you might get 25%+ for one CB kill.

Uhm I think you guys should just go RvR , I know you said that it's difficult and you don't make a substantial amount, but I think it's really the best way :x (also if you need any tanks, pm me hehe) , I think like 20k is about 20% at any ML, or you can also do the colossal encounter, I know that gave me aload of ML exp, providing people don't already have credit, so you might have to cycle the group alittle.

It varies from ML to ML. I got about 25% at ML3 in 3k on scout the other day.

Aye, farming CB is prolly the fastest way, I know we did it a lot when we needed ml exp. + you get some CB's thats not so bad either.

Personally this is how I get MLxp, but like I said - I have some guildee's
that work odd hours, or can only play certain days and certain hours. RvR
even at the best of times, is not regular/sustainable MLxp. You could lose,
get ganked a lot, only face superior number zergs from hibs and mids :eek2:
or simply not find anyone to fight.

If you are a scout its one thing, but a solo cleric or IceWiz for example
won't find solo-ing particularly easy.

The other thing is there is a time limit for getting the MLxp (i.e. before the
next ML9 raid) - but they need ML7 and ML8 BG steps (thus at ML3-6
they need a lot of MLxp between now and then). I'm pushing them to go
on Eggy's ML7 and 8 this Sunday - so they have more time before ML9.

I have been farming CB to get mlxp, on average it does pop every 10 mins.
With 4 in group it gave my lvl 48 bb ml2 about 12%mlxp, he dinged ml3 after about 8 kills (and 3 CB's later).
Killing crocs outside ml5 encounter will also give some nice mlxp (atleast it did to the person that had already killed them when I was doing ml5 groupsteps).
