Missing Gold and Iron

Gah it seems my Gold and Iron blocks have gone missing in the month or so I have been away studying and exam...ing. I had them in a chest in the craft room in my country home, and I don't think I hid them anywhere, is that due to a bug or do we have a tea leaf on the server?

we did have a few strange roll backs, i lost a shit load of stuff, then 2 days later it miraculously (ok cho sorted it)reappeared.

I proboly put it somewhere and forgot knowing me, thanks chosen but ill probs just leave it and take it as a lesson learned about leaving stuff in chests
