Misfiring Avatars

Is anyone else having problems viewing avatars here? Half of them keep turning to little red 'X's. I had this problem months ago, but then DBs made some changes to make the forums work faster and it fixed it. The problem seems to have returned :/
I'm still getting 404 errors on every other click though. Maybe it's time the code needed brushing up again, eh?
