Surprising title i know, but apparently it's true, last night just before i got lvl 24 i went to thid and was repeatedly attacked by several orange con (lvl 24) shadowblades (each one solo)...

so, you may ask how long it took me to release and get back there? um...no

each one of those shadowblades i killed even after getting perfed properly by two of the three, why? druid seers that's why.

get yourself a healer pet and stick it on passive, each time those shadowblades took me to 45%ish health (which was often ) i'd get healed back to 75% straight away, once one of them got frustrated by this and attacked my druid, at which time i opened a great big "can 'o' whoop ass" on him with side positional styles

simple fact is that with small pets, the assassin will simply ignore them, meaning that while normally you'd think this to be a bad thing, with a healer pet it means that they can REALLY make you hard to kill :touch:. that combined with insta stun for those big two hander shadowblades mean that practically their entire damage output is nullified

anyway, i'm having fun being almost the only fun class i can think of who is that immune to them, previously i'd kinda thought that only pure tanks were this safe, but they are BORING!

anyway, get a healer pet, and set him on passive if your wandering around solo (i now do this specifically to hunt shadowblades) because it's soooo much fun!

sorry to break it to you but everyone knows minstrels>assianse.

nice way you kill em though, usually minstrels DD twice then stun and mezz them. after 15 secs dd them again and whack em good or wait for your firends to come gank him

i think you may need to tell the shadowblades that they still keep attacking me

EDIT: besides, i'm just happy that i can finally kill the damn things, none of my other chars have ever really been able to touch them, my ranger comes close but not very well, killed one once but he was lower level i think, just enjoying not having to worry about them anymore

Ellyll Windchaser pet > Assassin
Stick it on defense, assassin perfs it chain nukes, if your health gets low, stick it on passive it heals.

Minstrel pets are satan's little helpers. Stop it danyan!

E.g.

Wandering around in odins with minstrel and armsmen. Minstrel says "Oh i'll just get a pet". Pet aggro's two orange mobs, and a patrol, and then turns aggressive and attacks us.

SOMEHOW beyond all expectation.. I survived. Total fluke. I was the only one however.

Bah not my pets!
I said I'll just get a pet one time, pet aggros a mob, a patrol and a random hib and we only lost one person (of 3).
Boney actually complimented me last night on being able to control a pet... unlike Gombur. That was before it AE nuked us all in the lord room of course.

other class that kills sb easy are clerics. insta PB aoe mezz as soon as you see it then stun and smite its ass off.
