Minstrels in NF?

i have seen the new RAs in NF... and they look pretty good! especialy the grp hot thingie!

and i wounder if mincers would be wanted in groups again or what?
i mean, when the hot is on lvl 3, it heals whole grp for like 400hp each second in 30 secs or so, and that pretty much !

so how will it be? is there any grps that will put in a mincer?

Minstrels are totally redundant in PvE and not needed in RvR. They kinda dug their own graves though, by turning down groups to become stealth-zergers and most minstrels who do join groups, fancy themselves as damage dealers and use DDs to steal deathspam :x

NF will bring alot of land to cover and with the war-map, groups will want to move quickly to the action hotspots. Rivers will need to be crossed and fought on/in... so the water breathing spell will come in use.

Minstrels will be popular in groups again... as long as they don't play /assist monkeys

Also with the FoP nerf, Mins/Sorcs should find placement within PvE leveling groups too... well lets hope

what if you dont get grps? thats 30pts wasted, if your going to buy am get lvl 1 or 2.

Nah, its not because deathspam, i switch targets all the time until i find somebody at low hp, then dd them twice to finish the job before any healers get to them. And i hate to stealthzerg, tried a few times but it was no fun. I´d rather run around soloing

I rarely got groups on my minstrel because of the new caster setup, so we didn't dig our own graves, RvR guilds did that for us :/

Minstrels were rejecting groups long before ToA. It was probably the zerg of mid savage groups which started it... minstrels saw they had more chance of getting RPs in stealth groups.. than they did in insta-zerged alb groups.

You make it sound like all minstrels turned around and said up your's alb we are Stealth zerging!!

So incorrect its only since ToA came out that the groups I used to join and dryed up.. now i get a choice i can either group with the unSced level 47+ or solo / duo, mainly as groups want more damage dealing classes like fire wizards or and extra sorc.

Then to top it off we get screwed over in NF so that when we cant get a group (most of the time ) we now cant solo either due to master of stealth and also the removal of dodger :x

Even the new FoP nurf has ways around it so that wont even effect PvE that much..

I did a send to somone in AC asking if they has a space for a level 50 mincer as I wanted to level a Artifact.. what I got was the reply "Your as bad as a inf in PvE now we dont need you"
