Been thinking, if i get charisma cap +15-20 will i have more juse of that then +15-20 str cap for damage... dd vs melee?

Well...

Probably, although not sure how much it scales up on mincers. But don't forget, str = weaponskill = chance to hit as well as damage.

Mincers use their damage DD's and stuns as their primarry damage... ofc the sword helps in also... but think the DD damage are the more importent then the melee :)

To be serious, I think Kahvi asks an excellent question that only careful testing will be able to answer.

My gut instinct is that the +str will, over the duration of a fight, be more useful than the +char. But I have no more evidence for this instinctive feeling than Galoma has for his POV. :)

If we assume a conservative swing-speed of 3 seconds (using a 4.1spd weapon like Malice with a 175 quickness) you'll get 5 swings per set of DD's. This starting statistic is what makes me suspect that the melee bonus will improve performance over any kind of shout bonus. In my opinion, a mincer's main source of damage output is their sword, not their DDs.

Will do some vault-searching/ME searching and get some tests rolling...

+2 char = (approx) +1 DD damage.

So for your extra +20 charcap you'll be doing 10 more damage per shout.

An extra 20 damage every 15 seconds. I'm not sure that will be decisive in too many fights... :(

190 char + Aug Acurity 5 (48 char) + Malice charge (50 char) (388 charisma total) = ~305 & ~285 dmg from DD's xD pretty fun to dash out 600 dmg instant in a fight and 600 again after 15 secs :p

I was bored and respecced out of toughness, Aug str and some MoP and tried Aug acu 5 on gonz :p

I was thinking about trying Toughness 4 and Aug Con 4 aswell just for a laugh to see how long I could last against brynje zerg :clap:

Could someone confirm this plz, as i'll soon be looking into templating my mincer and I'd like to know the impact of +char. Would do it myself but don't have the items as we speak to test this. I read somewhere else that some mincer got +40 dam from his 26 cha cap, so thats a diff story...

So if a mincer out there could play around with his charisma while shooting grey con mobs, that would be nice...

Not true. Yes the dd's come in handy but due to reuse timer no mincer should rely on them for main dmg. For slash spec mincers + str cap is the way to go. I have 373 str buffed and hit hard all the time, not just twice every 15 secs.

I am not saying not to bother with char, yes it is important to cap that but make sure your melee stats are maxxed if poss.

someone spec there mincer and get mom 5 and 10% spell dmg :p and report bk lol
