Caught this on VN and thought it'd be a nice template to have a go at. Issues being no Mezz/Stun blocker, and Dont have a clue where that Royal-Note-Singers ring comes from, other than that, thought it to be quite a nice well rounded template.

Will be swapping out for phoebus harp, for instruments use, wondered if the more experienced mincers out here could forsee any problems id be encountering with that?

(Edit :: can either have mix of inst/stealth or just go for the full whack capped stealth changing the gems about on shield. I dunno, will have to charm abit and see if its worth it :) )

After a quick review, I'd say boost the overcharge on your arms to cap ;) But for the rest, nice template if you ask me.

Dex does nothing for you as a slash user, you need 1 point in shield skill for dex to affect blocking. Drop that out and up your quickness as much as possible amongst other stuff where possible :)

a fully buffed mincer with 101 dex in temp evade 2%~ more and block 1,5% more then a mincer with NO dex and no buffs.. saw a test on VNboards:)

Id say choose either stealth or instruments for skill points. Skilling up both is a waste imo. Unless you run with a pet, go for stealth.

I dont like the GoV bp on mincers tbh, get Eirene or a Sidi bp, those procs are in my opinion better.

If you want to run alot in groups i suggest you put Cbracer in the temp bacause your demezzing skills is important for the group.

Malice is a pain to lvl if your not done.. and i like battler more cause of the ABS charge. Maybe keep 1 or 2 legendary weapons/malice on slot 2.

You should also cap quick

Theres lots to say about your template and lots you can change to make it better... tho its not a bad one... Theres alot of good mincers on prydwen, /poke em in game and i think they gladly help you whit questions.

With evade 2 you hardly evade anyway, not worth specing for dex..I had capped dex on one template and hardly any dex (or 35) on my new one and notice no difference.

I like the gov proc from the AF buff I get 890 af with that buff up which is nice :p, I would use malice as your main weapon as the proc is awesome and get phoeb harp (item from Phob necklace) as an unused arti (you summon harp then equip another necklace) as then you can have the sweet malice proc and the battler charge on hand..you get the best of both worlds..the only thing I will say about battler is the +hit chance proc which works nicely against NS/SB's who have like evade 1000.

Capping (or nearly capping) quickness is very important as it raises your dmg output/time..I have 71 in my template which gives me 215 total. This still isn't enough (Highlander) but it gets the job done.. I also recommend you have an item in your inventory with +19% haste charge (10 min timer) to further increase your damage (nothing like killing a hunter/sb in stun time :D)

If your running solo or a group I recommend Cere bracer..the stun/mez BT basicly nulls a casters QC without forcing you to use purge..a very very valuble asset. I havn't really looked at your template (too much beer) but I hope my general points have helped point you in the right direction. I will summerise below what I think the most important minstrel aspects in template are, I like to think of myself as a competent Minstrel so I hope you take my points into consideration

1. Cap (and/or Overcap): Str/Con/Quick/Charisma
2. Get Bonuses to: Melee Dmg/Style Dmg/Spell Dmg (DD's)/Melee combat speed
3. GET phob neckalce (even just to spawn instrement)
4. Use malice and have battler on back (for charge) Have a Heat and Spirit LW on you at all times and look up what armour is weak to what (Matter is nice on mids as they don't bother capping :D)
5. MAKE SURE YOU CAP CHAR..not so important for groups but build it into your template if you decide to solo in thr future, as char = dd dmg

These are all that I can think of atm, the key to surviving as a minstrel is being able to adapt to any situation..you need a template to represent this I have in my template Malice/Battler/Phob Harp Necklace/CTR/Cere bracer/GoV/Atlantis Tablet (Seen another Minstrel apart from me and carp with this now : (((((((/Shades of mist (must have)/Cyclops Eye Shield.
