Hi. I've made a new template for minstrel.

Naagauk's template

It has some obvious lacks, but overall this is a pretty good and easy to make template for slashin group-minstrels.

Why I don't include +Instruments : because its mostly useful for charming pets anyhow, which you won't be doing alot. PvE kit for that.

Why I don't cap +slash/stealth :
-slash: there is +9 slash, and you can use an alternative weapon to Malice, but the extra str from Malice is nice for some more WS that should make up for the lacking + skill.
-stealth: my current spec is 18 stealth, 39 slash, 50 instrument. With 18 base stealth I'm allready so gimped in stealth wars that It's not even any point to try. Avoiding zergs isn't a major issue, even with only 18 stealth. Add master of stealth in NF to that and you're out of your element.

Why so much con/hp: get toughness 4 for +250 hp and you're looking at aproximately 1900 unbuffed hitpoints, (give or take around 100 depending on char race and stuff ;p), and fairly average to good resists and you are a very nice add to the group/wannabe tank.

Give opinions, corrections, and suggestions but please no flame, I've had quite enough of that lately.

I have that, but only use the instrument not the neckie. Just pop the item and change necky etc.

And yes, MP chain is deffinately an option I just need to farm more SoM's to afford that first.

Magma Buckler on shield is utterly retarded as you lose like 100-200 hp every time you switch. Very bad for Minstrel, tried it myself, not worth it in any combination. So with instrument up he's way lower on con/hp than in my template, but its not bad tho, think I could have made mine quite alot nicer with zahur and mp chain

U prolly dont even wanna know , but this is what I'm using:

Im a pure group mincer, 50 inst, 43 thrust. (the weap can easily be swapped for battler and the +thrust swapped for +slash) All u need to do is replace con for dex on the boots.
