Minimizing again...

As I wrote in my other post:
"I enter the game and after about a minute it just minimizes causing it to close.
I played for 4 months previously without having this problem, then took a break for 3 months, renewed my subscription today and i am having this problem.
I am not touching any keys or minimizing intentionally with the Alt+tab command. I have had some problems with my computer with viruses and all that but it's all cleared up now and i tried reinstalling the game but it still doesn't work..."


I have formated and re-installed everything on the computer now. So I am completely sure the problem has nothing to do with the computer. What else can it be?
Are GOA having problems with this or is it just me?
It really pisses me off since I paid for more time and it doesn't work...

Could be a program that steals the focus from DAOC, causing it to close down, try shutting everything off in the taskbar and running the game, if it still happens, use ctrl+alt+del and close down everything but explorer and taskbar (if yer in win9x). Try updating your graphics drivers if you have formatted, could be something to do with that perhaps?

Same problem here

I`m having the same problem. I can play DAoC for about 10-20 minutes and then my computer crashes back to the desktop without any warning. Currently my system is AMD Athlon 1.4, 768 RAM, Geforce 3 Ti200 64 mb. I`m running version 40.98 Detonator Drivers. If anyone can shed some light on the subject then please write back as this problem is becoming very fustrating.
