I've been using this to launch the game for clan games and to get onto servers without having to breakout ASE, it's a damn sight more convienient and a lot quicker.

Just in case you do want to use it and can't be arsed with the helpfile you need to add the query port, and not the actual game port. Query ports are allocated from 23000 up based on when the server is started.

So to find game.net Conquest 1 I'd add 213.221.174.39:23000, Game.net Conquest 2 I'd add 213.221.174.39:23001 and so on.

Let's assume you are in an active clan who play 2/3 games a week.

Let's assume that each of these games are on a new server.

Let's assume you don't want them cluttering up your list in ASE, nor do you want ASE stealing cpu cycles or memory from bf42.

NOW DO YOU SEE ROBIN!?

Noob question:

Why does ASE pinch your memory or whatever if it's not actively refreshing the server lists?

Buddy list...or just because its a running program. Though with Scoobs graphics card, he shouldn't be scrimping and saving for that tiny amount of memory.
