Texture packs will most likely increase the gaming experience even more And you can use it on multiplayer servers(Only you are the one seeing the textures tho.

Just started to experiment with the higher res packs with the HD fix, some look pretty outstanding. Was using painterly pack for a long time but have moved to the Misa pack.

For those who like the charm of the original minecraft textures, and dont really want to change much. You can get this:

[32x][1.3]

Just a higher resolution then the original

Liking the wolf look. Will have to use that for my home Minecraft, its too much for my work PC.

Texture pack I use currently, its quite good although I don't have GLSL installed anymore as I found its more trouble than its worth atm (a right fuck on cofiguring it which isnt something I want to do everytime minecraft gets updated)

Looks great without GLSL aswell tho!
