looks good, nice stats, almost capping everything couldn't be better for a melee mincer - or could it?

I have a different oppinion about how a mincer should/could be played. I think a mincer SHOULD be detected in stealth by a NS/Ranger/SB/Hunter so they would jump you.

*FACT*
You have THE best armor as a stealther.
Highlander Minstrel get +5% Cold resist and have more str/con.
DD's do ~0.45 dmg pr +cha point and ~0.75 dmg pr. +instruments skill.
You have a SUPERB anytime style, stun, mezz, absorb chant - use them!
If you gained ML10 then you either have Forcefull Zephyr (instant win) or Fatigue reduction, 25% melee absorb and 10% fatigue/health/power regen shout.


I would have put some effort in getting the following:
Instruments skill (damage on DD's)
Acuity cap (charisma - damage on DD's)
Con cap
Hits cap
Cap resists (especially melee, body, cold and heat)
11 Slash, low stealth (to be detected from range)

ofc, it all depends on your playstyle and the opponents you meet.

only problem about playing stealth is you dont get mos imo ;) really sucks you dont have a chance to find the others ;) An because they find you 98% of the time they will land pa-cd or any other stunstyle an when i ns get stunstyle in on me im normally dead ;) hunters an rangers not that hard only high rr rangers im haveing problems with..

Back to topic...Very nice template i have to say... You gonna run with battler on back now that you dont got som proc? ;)

I need to get a way to find enemys since they don't wanna attack me :mad:


but if I were u I would prolly fit SoM in the template, or RoD just for the stealthlore :p

(I never /use2 on my SoM :p I rather wanna use stealthlore to find the enemys since they don't wanna jump me QQ(again))

its all wrong , total wrong .

1st . minstrel wins via time . on stealthwars at least . you need som .
2nd omg 2 meelee speed ?
3nd croc ring is a good option cause of the extra endu minstrels uses for DDs . and cause they go ooe kinda fast . if u are bored to have endu pots
put a croc ring in template .
4rt dont underestimate phoebus neckie use1 . you can win fights with that .
and u could really use a battler for use2 so u could have a phoebus harp
instead of drum + flute .
5th stats + meelee speed + meelee damage + ap 4 procc is good at mad scalars :>

remade useing the suggested arti's. Qwick question about PH does the instument stay after i remove the necklace.? Tend to sod about for ages before going RvR so can swap on to cast harp and swap back np's

if you could fit CB in for the mez/stun feedback would be usefull, as might help you with dealing with instant mez stun, and landing yours.

May sound like a stupid question but...

I notice in peoples temps they have GOV and list it with BOTH melee style damage AND spell range / damage.

I was under the impression that you chose either a tank style vest which gave melee bonuses or a caster style vest which has the spell bonuses.

Is this just an oversight in the temp makers listings or can you actually obtain both bonuses if you have a class such as a mincer (that would benefit from both)?

Any help or clarity appreciated

A mincer/reaver will gain more benefit from gov than a for example: merc.
Since mincer/reavers are on the hybridlist and gain benefit from spellrange and such.
