Mincer spec on cam?

k since in NF mincers are a little stealth fucked with the MoS shit etc, was thinking 26 stealth 34 wep ( i think) 50 instrument (enough stealth to climb)
+ a reasonable damage base with wep with + 11 and rr, other spec coulda been 29 slash, rest stealth 50 instrument, am a little weary of this ones low damage base, but am not exactly good on mincers, suggestions?

kinda like soloing alot, but since cam aint 100% stealth competition wanna keep that in mind, and yes i mean soloing, not duo, trio, solo, k but sometimes duo n trio , also thinking the lower stealth spec is grp friendly at 50 if wanted to run 8v8?

depends on play style .

50inst, 30stealth, 30slash/thrust - Probly the best overall spec there is, gives you best DD, best ablative, best mez, decent stealth, and spamethyst (if slash).

50inst, 43slash/thrust - Best group spec + instead of being a stealther you will be killing them more instead.

44inst, 39thrust/slash, 29stealth - Unusal spec, not recommended now with ablative chant and new dd etc, but if it falls into taste, why not, its your char, play it as you like :]

Currently Sitting On 50 inst , 39 thrust , 18 stealth , works for me.. thats rr5+ thou

from 50 - rr5 i was 50 inst, 39 slash , 18 stealth same spec ofc , just differant damage ofc...

has worked well enough for me thus far , dont find myself needing climb walls to often , and when you would do it , some sb/inf/ns gonna be waiting for you to give you a good so pointless having climb walls

Surely depends. If twoll 43 bs 50 sword/hammer 2 parry is perfect imo, but as dorf/kobbie, the other might work better, at least untill you get some MoPain's

Skalds have bad defense anyway, that little extra dex and qui aint gonna help you survive..Not like you're gonna evade and parry every swing with a bit more dex and qui . So you can better be a troll and dish out as much damage as possible in a short time.

Ain't true.. Dorfs, like me, pwn 2tm as we got higher base con, really helps a lot in combats at low rr's, but ye getting in on the rr8-9ish, twoll with 100 base strenght is best.. Will still continue saying 'power to de d0rfz'!!!

Spec and race... the two most argued things about skalds.

Don't go 50w 43bs. There's no point going other than sword if 50w which is gimped cuz of slash damage and you'll lose the 44 DD shout and the last damage add chant. Not worth it IMO.

Race? Well it's up to your taste. If you want people complaining about your big hits and wubly babyface, go for a twoll. D0rfs are very nice for the high con and dex (both make a notable difference) and don't lack strength as bad as kobolds do. Norseman is the number one FotM skald race with decent strength and constitution but afaik Skold regrets for not going twoll instead.

with skalds keep bs on 46. half the skalds that fight dd dd hit mezz, dd dd hit then stick and spin while using the dd's to kill you....dirty bug abusers grrrrrrr
