Mids - Albs - Hibs, numbers balanced now?

As we all know Alb has had the advantage of numbers from the beginning of the game. But with the fall of Albion (doesn't matter if its the the people that play Alb, the classes, (un)balanced realms etc) its seems that Albion doesnt have the numerical advantage anymore lately.

All the nights I log in to Excal I check the numbers of people online (2500-3000) and everytime I do a /who all we seems to have less than 30% of the that number. (i.e. last night 2700 people online of which 800 albs) SO what is it?

1. All albs play /anon (not sure if you are added to /who all if you are anon)
2. Lots of the former albs left for other realms (hib a few months ago, now mid is the way to go it seems) The grass is always greener.....
3. My math is really bad

Can any hib mid confirm this? are your numbers increasing (near to 30-35% of the online population)?

far too many people play /anon imo almost half the realm sometimes

It used to be 35% Alb, 35% Mid and 30% Hib according to Duskwave (lvl 50 population). Albion did have a higher total population, but I think that is due to a larger number of people only playing a little, and to the fact Albions make more alts due to gimped mains.

Sounds normal...most (coward) albs fled to Hib last few months as they thought Hib was overpowered (mainly because the caster's realm had control over the caster-relics) be prepared to get a flood of hibs/albs to midgardian lands, as most people think that mid is best realm atm

Depends if there is a RR going on....could be up to 50%....on a normal day 10% sounds more likely (10% = cleric/friar population)

How would you know 50% play anon if they are anon ?

when i do /who in hib it comes up with 400-500 hits. and think that kinda normal for hib at the moment, and have been for some time.

Ok

So according to the posts so far the game at this moment when 2700 people are online =

1000 albs (inc /anon), 1000 mids (idem), 700 hibs (idem)

Better get those 1000 albs moving to get at least a relic or 2

I do not know. Therefore I ask for some proof. It's easy to proof once you have the numbers on all realms and the overall server population (since they do count anon on that one, not on the realm-ones).

Since I do not have access to these numbers I have no proof. Therefore I ask for proof. Otherwise it's pure speculation.

1300 albs
700 mids

i had the feeling more people joined midgard lately.. if i do a /who all the numbers have been huge lately.. tho only 1/4 of em are lvl 50's, never the less u might lost some warriors (dont really know if u can call peopel in alb for warrior.. more like dolls?) but u can still make incredible large zergs in alb.

The sad thing is when alb had all 3 strength relics you couldn't really notice any difference, I think its the end regen + LA + 3 str relics which make Mid pretty tough atm. Hibs also had all 3 power relics before SC when everyone got capped resists.

i doubt hardly any albs play anon really as the ones that would would be the ppl in strife/bf/gol/hb/fc/ss at a guess and when u who them u generally get all the matches including friars/clerics (hahah clerics as if there are any )

so tbh i think alb is outnumbered these days as ive done /who and got 790 when there was 3021 on the server according to entry screen

and no not during a relic raid ;p

869 mids is the highest i have ever seen two days ago, recently it seems more people have started to play in midgard especially ex albs.

funneh when a alb plays for 30 min he finds 900 peeps online.

A few weeks ago I did check how large the hibpopulation was on peak hours with /who all and then divade it with the number on the whole server. The result said that hib had 15-20% of the serverpopulation...

conclution: lots of hibs are anon, hibs are severly underpopulated or both.

Prolly all are taken about peak hours. So maybe 20% of all ppl are anon ?

anyway, these numbers would give:

~26,7% hibs
~38,4% mids
~34,9% albs

dunno if these numbers is even close to correct, but might atleast give a hint?

Ouch so mids "the fighterrealm" have all strength relics, have the numbers and soon will have 1.60 (3 rams / door) will be hard to beat them

Mids admit in having same (or maybe even more) people online as albs..so no more crying about "albs have twice the people" it's just not true
