Midlands LAN Party?

Oooh...anyone in the Midlands fancy CAMPING THE LAN for a weekend and PWNING in RvR? I think that the RvR performance of any group would be improved 400% if the other members could see my scowling at them.

Arranging 1 or 2 FGs would be sweet. :D OLD SKOOL.

lol...it's slightly better than RW, but RW rocks all the time and u don't have to pay for it :)

Except I don't know what RW is and that Staffordshire is just up the road from me and I've already bought a gold velour sleeping bag.

LAN Parties rule. I go to LAN a lot. :)

Infact i'm doing an all-nighter tonight at my local LAN centre where we'll be mainly playing Day of Defeat 2 across the whole time. It's a cross UK tournament type thing where the winner stays on... we'll be going across the globe in maps so I think it's going to be a fun night. :)

Well, you can scowl noisily over RW ;)

Or make me laugh optionally...well zoyster does by shouting 'Gunna' etc :>

You can always affix wing mirrors to your moniter and give anyone a frown and a shake of the head if they do bad and wink at them if they do good.

It's illegal to drink beer at LAN centres unless they have a license. Very few do have these however. But you have to remember half the fun is the socialising and the other half is killing the biznatch infront of you on LAN and watching him jump up in a fit of anger and scream in a high pitched voice. Oh, then there's the food too.

Yes Apathy they are nice and i'd kick your ass at them too. :D

But please... any FPS player with no a brain would just reply:
"So you play DAoC? That's like an RPG or sommit... Heh get your ub0r l33tz0r skillz0r w34pz0rs so j00 can pwn that dude there!"
You:
"Erm that's a grey con it dies easy."
"I don't care dude! Kill it! pwn pwn pwn etc."
"Fool. I can't attack my own realm mates."
"Eh? WTF you on?! Dude this game suckz0rs! I'm off to teh buyzone to get some shopping - I'm out of milkz0rs."


Then you have the FPS player with a brain:
"So like you play an RPG. How many hours of your life have you wasted on that then?"

Daws, roger wilco sucks use Teamspeak 2

As for a DAoC lan, it would be good if you had your own server, be able to make any 50 you want, and have some nice big battles :]

3 People in my house play same times. So we get decent co-op. So having people close rl helps. Also if you need a rez you hijack there puter and do it. And then to top it all, its easier for one of us to put kettle on, when one of us shouts.

i saw midlands and shuddered with fear, I dont socialise with people from that far north, terrible bunch, all got big beards and ginger hair (or blonde if their Vikings)

aye he be a shandy drinker. And even if he drank beer, then it would have no head. I mean it must intimidate you lot or something, something with decent head ;)
