Generally this is the case almost all of the time. My guess is that Mids don't PvE as much.

alb is cheap cos they cant count that high

Well, they made stupid stuff like glass quest and pict one that yielded ridiculous amount of money so people have pretty thick wallets these days. Heck, even I have a few plats without even farming anything.

Excal was dirt cheap compared to the US. Markets filled with cheap gear was <3.
