Just did a /realm in game and it looks like Midgard already has 2 keeps. One in Albion and the other in Hibernia. Now I want Part of the action.

I think the frontier keep status is going to be reset when they put in the 1.45 patch this week.

from the announcement forum on daoc-europe.com:

Hiyas everyone,

With the coming of the 1.45 patch, we will reset all frontier keeps status on all servers.

In the version we are using actually(1.36), there are many bugs related to keeps and RvR in general. These bugs are fixed with the 1.45 version.
Many new features, directly related to the RvR, will be introduced as well such as relics, new patrolling system in the frontier, bounty points, climbing for rogues, falling damage, etc…
These changes will modify a lot of things for all RvR encounters and future raids. In order to give everyone a fresh start, we will reset the keeps on the 1.45 patching day.

This is an exceptional reset, and I really doubt that this will happen again in the centuries to come. We try not to get involved in any RvR event but in this case, mainly because the release is still fresh, we felt that it was the best choice.

This said, nobody is stopping you to gather your friends, guild, realm and go get some keeps before the 1.45

yup, will be reset, as atm Midguard is overpowered compared to the other realms, due to game issues etc.

The 1.45 patch addresses that, and brings the other realms up to speed, although we will still lag behind the current high level middies
