Midgard Nightraid

Hey everyone

Would like to start out with thanking the hibs who showed up in midgard for some serious keep taking. I know it was a nightraid and all but we still had great amounts of fun. Started out after ganking alb grps in DF with 1.5FG and the fun died. We then decided to head for midgard. Started with Nottmoor, Fensalir and then headed to Hlidskialf where we found some more hibs.

While bashing the doors we began to think of how cool it would be to take all the keeps and head for relic. We then called out of ppl to come and some ppl came so i estimate with the ppl who logged we were about 2,5 FG. We took the rest of the keeps without much trouble, it was basicly " Run to bledmeer, buy rams, run to keep, bash doors, kill lord, run to bledmeer, ect, ect". We didn't meet any mid resistance at all.

When we had finally taken the last keep we sent the 10 ppl who wasn't with the main grp (main grp = 8 ppl) to cut off any defenders incoming to Grallarhorn. They fought bravely but them nasty mids were too strong. We were then left with 3 rams, 8 ppl (3 mages, 2 wardens, 1 bard, 1 druid and 1 cute lurikeen champion ). Decided we wanted to have a go at Grallarhorn just to have some fun. Well, the screenshots at the buttom explains the rest

In short, thnx to the mids for not defending your keep against a unorganised force. Taught us how much fun u can have when no one comes around to bug us And tjnx to all of the hibs who came to midgard it was very fun. Huge thanks to my grp who lasted for about 3 hours in midgard while alot of ppl were logging.

uhm, I'm kinda missing the point of this post... You can't be surprised that no Middies turned up, it was 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning on a weekday ffs

Actually, a group of 10 HDS started with Bledmeer at 11pm, took it about 10 minutes later.

Then sat there waiting for the usual Bledmeer reclaim zerg...

and waited...

and waited...

Then grew bored and decided to take Nottmoor. Took Nottmoor...

and waited...

and waited...

Then we joined more Hibs taking Hlid...

Guess what? Still no Mids

Dammit! Is the Albion thinking catching in Midgard?

It's been like that quite a while now usp

We took arvakr (so they wouldn't even have that far to come ) but no one turned up, so we started to camp bk, eventually a large mid zerg was assembled (30+ mids) and plowed through us, a few of us made it back to arvakr.. mid zerg never bothered to get it back even then

Gonna be raking in the RP's when you guys start thinking you can take keeps again once you get the gimped GTAoE

Oh, and fyi, I personally think I do more damage with DD than a Light spec enchie does due to the 50% heat debuff since Teador and I were dropping yellow/orange cons in 4 casts between us last night (1 heat debuff + 1 DD, and 2 DD's).

To dhow up and do what? Die in massive quantities on a few pbaoe casters up in the lords room just to please you? Wait till next patch.

Either he will go 45 body for best life tap 90% heal and MoC, (and 22 spirit for 15% body debuff) or 46 spirit for 50% body debuff, with rest in body for nukes.

PS: No I won't go matter

Hmm, as you could know, few pbaoers can be killed by organized group of stealthers. You tried it at bledmeer few days ago and worked nice, so why not try it again?

dunno if i speak same situation but there hib had only, what i heard in our cg, 2 healer class and 2-3 pbaeo.
first our sb:s, when we hit doors that 2 hours, manage kill those healers, rest was easy.
btw there was many greys to lvl 50, so we speak a lott different thing here what 4-5 pbaeo and 5-6 tanks allmost all lvl 50 in lord room.
have been waiting this so called "use tactics" when taking keep, like some post here,
we waite, and waite and waite but nobody come.

its easier leave hibs there and let them wonder when mids come, kill hibs when they are taking more keeps or going home.
at this moment mids dont have so strong weapons against this type defense, hope next patch change situation.
